1. How does your pro bowl QB constantly take sack in FG range? You would think at some point in practice someone would say, "Know where you are on the field!"
2. It almost goes against random chance that your defense doesn't get turnovers. They got one today...but like steel shinin said, that was a gift. I guess they met the quota for the next 4 games.
3. Was Blount hurt? Whey didn't we see him much in the second half. They shut down Bell. I thought the Steelers would play to shorten the game midway through the second half, but they kept throwing it. They still could have run down the clock, but instead of trying for first downs they kept throwing deep.
4. Heath hasn't been the same since his knee injury. Still good. Still sure hands. still a great blocker. But it seems he gives himself up as soon as he gets hit. He doesn't break tackles or carry a defender anymore. Not a knock...just an observation.
5. Too many slow developing, behind the LOS plays for my liking.
6. I think Shazier may have made a difference in pass coverage today.
7. How do the Steelers constantly make nobody QBs look like All Pros?
8. I've never criticized Troy because I never know what his assignment is, but today he was obviously taking bad angles and slow getting to a spot or position.
9. It's laughable how many penalties the Steelers have had this year. All these while they're trying to improve from back-to-back 8-8 seasons. Where is the coaching?
10. In John Maxwell's, "21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership" he speaks of a former manager of a successful takeover firm in the hospitality business. The manager said when they take over a hotel they always start by doing two things. First...train the employees. Second, fire the manager. ALWAYS. Because..."if he had been a good leader, the organization wouldn't be in the mess they are in."
