I'm happy for him. Probably won't get a ring though because the league will want Travis to propose to Taylor on the field after the game.

Pickett's td percentage with the Steelers was under 2% both years... in limited time with the Eagles, it was 4.8% which is stellar...more proof that system and scheme remains the biggest thing with QBs... There are maybe 20 in NFL history who superseded that.

Who said RB doesn't matter? looking at the playoff teams this year it was almost mandatory to have a top 10 RB.
If you don't have an elite QB an elite RB is needed.
And Vice versa.

I mean, it got to the point where Dave had to post a thread telling us to knock it off due to the number of complaints he was getting. We all love Dave and respected what he was building so of course we toned it down out of respect. But the old board...With Supe, Coolie, and Tres Rios...it was brutal. I still chuckle thinking about some of their posts.

I don’t remember the actual poster’s names, but there were a couple of them that got so bad one was actually going to drive to the others town/city to beat the **** out of him. They were dead serious. There was a lot of challenges along the way, nothing was safe or out of reach.

ALSO, not nearly as threatening, but probably the biggest TOOL ever was a poster that went by “crash”. Does anyone remember that ****-ing obsessed in attention whoring poster. What a tool. He eventually drove off TMC who happened to be one of the best draft / analysts to make present on this board. He was a huge information and well versed / communication loss to the board.

Good times and great reading.

We still have the tools, but more importantly we have some great information / memory type posters here. I’m proud of the diversity and general knowledge with the added ignorance and great humor…….. of this board.

The wide range and the good commradery of this nature is a winning combination. I thank many (all) posters (to hard to
list actual poster names), ownership, and yes….. the many VERY good moderators too.

I don’t remember the actual poster’s names, but there were a couple of them that got so bad one was actually going to drive to the others town/city to beat the **** out of him. They were dead serious. There was a lot of challenges along the way, nothing was safe or out of reach.

ALSO, not nearly as threatening, but probably the biggest TOOL ever was a poster that went by “crash”. Does anyone remember that ****-ing obsessed in attention whoring poster. What a tool. He eventually drove off TMC who happened to be one of the best draft / analysts to make present on this board. He was a huge information and well versed / communication loss to the board.

Good times and great reading.

We still have the tools, but more importantly we have some great information / memory type posters here. I’m proud of the diversity and general knowledge with the added ignorance and great humor…….. of this board.

Been here almost 20 years now. I come here to relax and talk football and politics and I don't take many things very seriously.
Sometimes the newbies don't get my wit and sarcasm, but...meh. If ya ever notice, I don't get into arguments with people because it's widely known at this point that I don't care what other people think.

OL and scheme, we seem to be troubled with both.

Scheme is flawed.

OL doesn’t seem to be coached up or properly. We have the horses, just not they support needed to get them up.
