I just don’t understand why this party simply cannot unite behind anything. There are always 5-10 republicans virtue signaling their opposition to the majority and for what?

Any chance the Republicans have of keeping the house and taking the senate gets slimmer and slimmer every day that passes and this clown show continues. People look at this and see a group of politicians that can’t accomplish anything because all they do is bicker and stab each other in the back over everything.

As bad as shape as the nation is in, people won’t vote for this mess because they won’t believe that the Republican Party will unite to fix anything that’s broken.

**** these guys. They obviously aren’t interested in doing the people’s work, and I hope they get a good hard lesson to remember for a while so they get their **** together and start solving the problems that face this great nation.

They are all a bunch of "influencers" with two-minute sound bites on social media and YouTube. They sit committee meetings and virtual signal to their bases but wont do a ******* thing for any of us. They're too busy building their "brand" to get television appearances to sell their books while our country determinates as they sell out to big business and foreign interests to enrich their entire families.

Not so sure......the less the government does, the better. If they shut every department down, except for welfare funding, who would notice? EPA, FDA, HHS, etc all could close for elongated periods and no one would notice.

I'm just talking about the speaker. Yes,I totally agree with closing most of it and cutting it down to about 30% of what it has become.

It just keeps growing and adding to itself.

Earlier in the day, Emmer’s bid to be speaker appeared on the verge of collapse amid opposition from the right flank of his conference and fresh attacks waged by former President Donald Trump – just hours after the Minnesota Republican was picked as the party’s nominee.
 
Looks like the Republicans will continue to stumble and somehow, someway hand the speaker ship to the communists.

Other than belligerent acts in far away places that might US Guvmint benefit from support, how is this a bad thing?

Plus, it clearly demonstrates the useless swamp creatures that inhabit the Republican party have lost the little backbone they had.

The socialist Dims are cleary listening to the advice of Sun-Tzu: " when your enemy is making a mistake, do not interrupt him".

So maybe pathetic is good for the US.
 
It really doesn't matter to me anymore what they do. I'm completely convinced this country needs a third party strong enough so neither the Republicans or Democrats can attain control.
 
Most people would " feel wierd" voting for or joining a third party. Most register Democrat because their parents were Democrat. Some states you can register to vote but you don't have to claim or affiliate with a party. In Pennsylvania a person must declare a party affiliation.

Gaetz, like most Republicans in Congress, is a self-serving clown. Hell no he didn't have a plan. As a Republican, that is apparently forbidden as evidenced by the fact that they still haven't come up with a plan to fix healthcare like they promised a decade ago.

I am so pissed at the Republican party. Democrats, with their woke stupidity and dementia riddled president were in the process of handing 2024 to Republicans on a silver platter. Not to be outdone, Republicans have decided to try and hand it back by proving that they have no plan for anything, cannot agree on anything and have no ability to govern. It's like a game of hot potato but dumber.

I wouldn't be feeling weird in the least. I'm just not going to vote 3rd party until I know it has a legitimate chance to win. There's absolutely zero chance of me voting for the commie democrats ever.

I honestly don't think it matters anymore. The whole thing needs scrubbed clean and it won't happen without great hardship either by economic collapse or war.
