Sullivan needs to tweak his system around. This roster is not constructed for speed. A few lines show glimpses, but overall this team’s strength is puck possession and not aggressive forechecking

Old 29er was past frustrated during the postgame. He got on a roll as to how the bottom 6 are not contributing at all and being spectators again this year. Also whizzed off that nobody other than Sid and Geno gets into the scrum when necessary.
The younger faster "not quite there yet" team was too much.....They will end up being out at the end of the year and the Wings will be in. Just like last year......Isn't room for everyone.
You got the Sens and the Sabres that are up and coming too.
I guess we have to give it some time like we do every year now it seems but I don't like what I have seen the first 4 games.

I didn't tune into the game but I read where Z scored a goal. At least he helped get some production for that line. I think he'd be a force to be reckoned with,,,if used properly.

Penguins looked good in the 1st period. Generating scoring chances, winning forchecks, etc.

It’s even worse when the team zones you out. As fans we love to see a heated coach but in all reality a coach yelling at players only works at the collegiate and high school level. Yelling at pros is similar to a manager yelling at an employee. You lose the respect of employees that way. It’s only the 5th game. The Pens need to just adjust with a bunch of these new guys. Karlsson is catching on. I think Graves, Eller and Accari will catch on by next month

Changes in the line up tonight.
Goaltender Alex Nedeljjkovic is making his second start. He is 1-0
John Ludwig is making his first start on defense.
Also Ryan Shea will make his second start and will be on the same line as John Ludwig.

Brutal looking crash. Pens show a sign of physicality and Ludwig is knocked out...Hope he's ok and it doesn't make him lose that intensity.

These guys have no team speed. They have some fast players, but as a whole, this team is slow and it’s costing them.
As excited as I was for many of the FA signings, it’s looking at this point that a system is being forced on players that are incapable of playing that system well.
