I see Rodgers taking matters into his own hands and improvising, much like Ben did (with some success) at times later in his career. This guy knows what he's doing out there; he's not going to allow himself to be shackled by Tomlin or anyone else. What are the Steelers going to do if he doesn't comply? Bench him? Unlikely. All depends on our offense scheme and philosphy. Pickett/Tribiskey/Wilson/Fields were all shackled. Actually the entire offense was shackled. If Rodgers gets the same shackles as they did it will be a complete failure. We will find out soon enough how smart Tomlin actually thinks he is.
Then on the defensive side, we have the same old issues also.
Hopefully, Tomlin takes a long hard look in the mirror. I have been praying daily that he reads the threads on this site so he actually sees where his faults are since he clearly is having a hard seeing them himself. Get it done Coach T!!!!!!
Maybe Rodgers and the Steelers can find some common ground in the middle, but I don't see a player with his ego coming in and being restricted within a system that has proven to be ineffective when it counts.
