Schefter reporting Steelers are now listening to trade offers for Bell (jets maybe)

Trade Bell and Chickillo to Jets for 3rd rounder and Darron Lee. I wouldn't mind seeing what Matthew Thomas could do at the outside, move him to Chick's spot.

I think the only parties involved are Bell’s agent and Scheftner. Agent lights the match to start interest with they other 31 clubs, Scheftner stokes their fire to have clubs call.

It’s how Scheftner, Rappaport, Florio and the rest of the National media get stories made. Steelers FO hasn’t done on thing. They may send him home with pay to keep him from disrupting the locker room if he signs the tag at week 10. If he is not up to playing shape it’s Keyshawn in Tampa all over again.

I am sure most teams could use a pass catching RB. But the Jets RBs seemed to be doing decent in the run department.

Yep.

What I am not sure of is what stage it would be. I am assuming the same that the Steelers would have had to pay. But not confirming that.
