2016-2017 Pens----Still with 100% more Kessel

Pens so many chances to put up a third goal and Caps keep making big saves.
 
What a game. Props to MTC. Guy never gave up.

Now, on to crush the dreams is the Sens and their fans.
 
Tried going back to the old routine of not getting on this thread until after the game. Superstitious like that.
It was good to see the Pens moving around out there and being aggressive rather than sitting back and waiting.

Now that's the team I knew the last few weeks. Welcome back to playing like ******* champions! And **** the caps.

Hard to say...Last game was poor coaching.
Game 5 was a meltdown we had a 2-1 lead after 2.

This game was a clinic. The new guys played great and gave life. Sullivan pulled the right strings for sure tonight

Gotta admire the hustle by Scott Wilson and the little playmaking ability by Rowney. I'd still like to see them on Bonino's wing however. I think that line can be something
 
Hell of a game tonight. Fleury was great. Got a few good bounces and that can decide game 7's.

Long way to go for another cup, but the team showed a lot more pep tonight. Have to leave it hanging out like that every game.
 
Yup, MAF had to steal one for us. He started off strong. We went up 2-0, and the Caps forgot how to run their offense. They stopped skating, and were flooding their sides of the rink unintentionally, that created the traps that the Pens took advantage for to get odd man rushes and own the 3rd. Should have been a 5-0 game.

Way to go Pens!! Murray is back, we're relatively healthy, and Malkin will hopefully limit his lame defensive zone play for the Eastern Finals.

On to Ottawa, easily the worst team we've faced in the playoffs thus far!
 
What makes this so sweet:
-opponent has home ice
- a little middle finger to Tom Wilson, Matt Niskanen, Jay Beagle and Birdman Kutznezov(sp?)
- Caps total meltdown and around 7 or 6 minutes you can tell the desperation. Pens did as I said. Remain calm and took advantage of the aggression(you're welcome)
- game 7 record is 6-0 I think

Holy ****! I'm happy lol

I'd prefer the rags in all honesty. Ottawa plays the Pens pretty tough. Karlsson is a series injury in the making.

Got to give it to him. He stopped all of them and the team played pretty damn good in front of him. That 3rd period was all hustle. Highly enjoyable stuff.

The thing that makes this extra sweet (other than rubbing it into all my local friends here in the DC/Balt area), is all the Caps "fans" (who aren't really Caps fans, they are bandwagon fans that don't understand the rules of hockey), thought they had a chance tonight, only to watch their team fail.......again.......at home!!!!
