I didn't see a minute of the game and still have not seen the highlights but I can tell you Mike Lange called a great game tonight. I implore you to turn off the NBCShitNetwork broadcast and listen to Mike call the game. He did a fantastic job of calling not only the great scoring chances and the goals but MAF's saves. He does such a good job you can picture what's happening on the ice. The old 29er is definitely a homer and gets whiny when calls don't go our way. When the call is really bad Mike will chime in. He had a great call with about 40 seconds left to go when he said Ovechkin had the puck but I don't think he can tie the game up at this point....At that point I knew he knew the Pens had this game in the bag and it was time to celebrate.... Long Live Mike Lange!

YES!!! Can I have an amen for brother Spike and his flying chick from the greatest movie ever made!!!
I have one more song to play...Crank up the Cerwin Vegas and wake up the neighbors during the solos!

Damn glad I didn't check out the message board. I would have seen where the game was won 20+ minutes ahead of the radio app. I started listening to the game at 7:30 on the app, we had a quick dinner then I took the trash out and fed the pets. When I got back there was about 5 minutes left in the first and it was like 8:30.. I thought something was up but figured maybe someone got injured and it took a few minutes to scrape them off the ice....

While I don't feel bad for the Caps, I kinda feel bad for Barry Trotz. I mean, if you can't win with THAT team, you gotta question yourself as a coach. At least a little anyway.

that team will be very different next year. Cap Hell, free agents, restricted FA's, where do you put your money? Oshie is going to get paid, Williams will, Shattenkirk will, as well. There are more. Ovie's legacy is **** right now. Great goal scorer and regular season performer, but can't get past the 2nd round and Pens.

Sully is an amazing coach. What he did in the two days to get this team ready and focused is damn fine coaching. He plugged in the right players and made the proper adjustments. Still amazed they pulled it off, being out-played, out-shot, out-hit and in their barn.

Man, watching Ovechkin's post game interview resembled someone setting his house on fire and lost his dog, to boot. That's one defeated man. He seriously needs to be on suicide watch. There is an ounce of me that feels for him, but I'll get it over it. Fast.

And the Crosby vs Ovechkin debate is settled once and for all.
You know if it were not for Niskanen trying to take Crosby's head off, immediately after Ovi shlashed him, and Wilson trying to take out Pens every other shift at times I too would feel sorry for the Caps for what they have went through. But after that sequence the other night when Wilson made one circle around the ice and hit 3 Pens late taking Daley out I hope the Capital's franchise crumbles into mediocrity.
