2016-2017 Pens----Still with 100% more Kessel

The wrap around goal was poor, he went down way way too early there, and he gave up 5 goals last game. When is it time to change?
 
They're not playing well in front of Murray, who they normally play better in front of than Fleury. I'm a novice hockey fan, but I don't see how changing goalies is going to change that. Unless the move is to save Murray's psyche, I don't understand why the call for Fleury. (Welcome explanations though)
 
Kunitz breakaway and Pecker's luck against that Crosby rush may have been it. One goal can get us in it. But the guys only play in spurts

The simple explanation is Murray has not been good the last two games. I think Fleury does better with the chaos in front of the net + it may give the team a spark.

Hmmm ... OK, but has the TEAM played well in front of Murray the last two games? And it's my understand (and observation) that Murray is the calmer of the two goalies when there's chaos in front of the net. It's highly possible I'm wrong. But, I like Murray's demeanor better than Fleury's.
In any event, I believe the NHL/NBC wanted this outcome anyway and that's why the Pens aren't getting the penalties that are obvious while the Preds get tick-tack ****.

Unless another team comes out in the 3rd this game is over.
 
Pens have had their chances to go ahead in this game and haven't converted. Murray hasn't been good for the second straight game. Not a recipe for a win.

A few good shifts in honesty
- puck luck was the factor this period
- Murray is looking real broken, but the team responds in a spurt. Go with MAF for the game imo
-Nashville. I told my bro in law that them there hicks is brutal. Weird vibe in with this building. Too nbc-ish pushing

Haha. I can't help it sometimes. I get this vibe I can't shake until I see something that shakes it. Like pucks in the back of the net or a trickle over..whatever works. Of course defending our end will be equally important. Regardless they must hold serve at home next game. Boy we could sure use letang right now.
