They skated better. In fact I'll say they outskated the Panthers. Sloppy puck control, sloppy passing, but they created plays. Kudos to Florida for playing a physical game. Those guys love to hit. Ian Cole is not one to push around though. Glad Daley ended up ok after the high stick. Letang will bolster the D a bit. Conor Sheary out another week too. I want to see Kevin Porter get his due
 
3rd and 4th lines show up with team hockey and win the game, they break up BTK? Why is Kessel with lazy Malkin?

Sullivan is experimenting with Malkin. He's going through a bit of wingers this early in the season. Crosby's line looked good. HBK is the best line---they create scoring chances in the offensive zone, high chance for break aways. Phil hit the crossbar earlier that should've went in. That was a pass by Kunitz though. I like Cullen's line as well. Kunhackle and Fehr are not the fastest, but great puck awareness. I think Malkin's lazy play is hard for the wingers to compensate. So we'll see how his line pans out
 
Gonna be a fast one tonight with the Pens and Isles
 
Good skating from the Pens today. They were clearly faster than the Isles. Scott Wilson is clicking with Sid and is showing flashes of playmaking ability. I wonder if this will send Sheary back down to WBS or he'll be on a different line. Malkin took some penalties today as well, but played a less lazy game. Him and Kessel are clicking. HBK is now HBR. On top of that hope Hagelin is ok. That check from the back didn't look good.

Crosby is playing with purpose now. Keep it up

Team came back to life with Sid in there, much crisper passing
 
The filthy flyers tonight in philly. And then the Pens start a west coast trip. Gonna be fun. I little worried about the sharks game coming up
 
Fun game. Pens were down 2-0 now up 3-2 still in the 1st. Cullen with a nice wrap around goal
 
5-4 win. Bad defense. Offense couldn't settle in. You can tell they are missing Letang. Malkin delivered when needed
 
They gutted it out in the 3rd. I have to say Malkin is finally waking up. He needs to do it all season and earn that money.
 
That was just a fun game to watch all around. Lots of great passing and Sid being Sid. My Flyers friends got their hearts ripped out twice during that game. LOVE IT!!

Yeah it was a fun game. I enjoyed it. I'll say this though. Pens defense looked awful. In return it was hard to get the offense the puck. Sid and Geno looked great last night. Cullen is looking like the 2nd half season Cullen of last season. Good good. Defesne needs to get up to par. When Letang get's back I think they will

That's when the Pens just about learn to skate. Lol. It was a fun game. I want to see guys like Porter get called up. Enjoy the season. I think the Pens will pull through their defensive woes soon. Maatta needs to just stay back in all honesty. The rest of the guys are doing ok. Warsofsky is another weak link
