2016-2017 Pens----Still with 100% more Kessel

******* Leafs. They are putting the pressure on again. Caps look overrated.
 
Andersen has been sensational tonight.

Good game! Score Leafs! One shot to take home ice going back to Toronto. I think that's enough motivation.
 
Lol,the sign on the scoreboard in Washington says the metro closes @ midnight. Another 25 minutes. What do you do......leave a double overtime playoff game?

This series is weird. On paper, the Caps are the better team and it isn't close. On the ice, both teams are better in long stretches. Both goalies, especially Andersen, have been awesome. To me, the Caps have had the better of the play overall, but the Leafs have had as many good scoring chances. The Leafs can win this, but Matthews needs to get going. He cannot be a passenger, and he has been just that so far.

The Leafs remind me of the Pens last yer against the Caps. I think the Caps were better overall, but the Pens scored when it counted in that series and MM was pretty great, too. So happy to wake up to see Trots giving his post-game presser. I must have fell asleep right before TOR scored. I wonder if there is a bit of panic in WASH?

What a wild *** game! non-stop attacks back and forth, great scoring chances for both sides - that has to take a lot out of you, Leafs with the young legs!

Oh yeah - all the pressure is on the caps, their fans were biting their nails all night!

Leafs kind of remind me of the 08 Pens, young and like they really don't know what they're capable of doing yet, so they just play hard and never stop


The Caps are expected to win the cup and anything less will be a failure. .......if they lose the next game in Toronto, the Caps will really start to feel the heat!

say the Leafs pull it off and eliminate the Caps, would that be the greatest upset in sports or hockey? For the NHL, it would have to be right up there with the Islanders beating the Pens in 1993. Hope it happens. Would be crushing.

On paper the Caps look impressive. Having watched them a bit throughout the season, they do not impress me at all. I'm happy Tampa is not in, as they are the only team in the East capable of skating with and out skating the Pens. The East is the Pens for the taking imo. The West, Nashville looks for real
 
so 1 game for the crosscheck - but no mention of the second hit, to the head?

he should have gotten two games+. The NHL could police these acts by sending a stern message that these bs acts are not tolerated. They could fine the HC, too.

Nashville could be the representatives from the West. Anaheim looks good, too. Whomever the East plays will be one tough SCF.

But don't forget that it is the Loafs, and they are playing at home, with all the pressure of a team that has not won an important playoff game since 1993. You could look it up.

They do have the coach, the young talent and the goaltending for this to be their year.

Maybe these Leafs are different, but I really, really doubt it.

CNBC at mi casa as well, Easter sunday at the granma ma's. So probably gonna miss a good portion of the game
