2016-2017 Pens----Still with 100% more Kessel

Crosby is so freakin good. Way to set up the winner! Guentzel HAT TRICK!!!

That was something else......controlling the puck and looking for the opportunity.....thing of beauty....

What a freaking game....Crosby attracts so much attention it seems like everyone forgets about the kids.

Honest to god I think some guys get caught up in watching Sid skate and handle the puck....It is almost like he mesmerizes them or something. I have seen several times this year where they just seem to stop and stand there flat footed and watch him weave back and forth while Sheary or Guentzel drift out in front of the net wide open...

When they open it up and start attacking relentlessly like they did in the second period tonight there isn't a team in the NHL that can keep up with them.

missed about 70% of the game, but kept checking my phone and sneaking a peek throughout dinner. Had to catch OT on the radio and I almost wrecked my car when Geuntzel scored. Pens will not be denied. i think tonight cut their hearts out and we should end it Tuesday. Put them out of their misery. Heal and rest for TOR/WASH.

It would be awesome to sweep. A little rest would be great.

Now on the the Leafs beating the craps!!!

Guentzel!

Guentzel!

Guentzel!

More Guentzel!

Young legs!

Great effort by Sid behind the net on the game winner. Guentzel is really playing well, as is Sheary. Those announcers must have been the Columbus announcers because boy, were they pulling for them.

Guentzel played well yesterday. Bryan Rust has been Mr. Playoff as well. It does ease the pressure on Sid and Malkin. Or as a poster stated a few posts above. Sid and Malkin get so much attention, it's hard to account the other guys

**** the Blue Jackets, Tort, and their whiney ******* fans.

but, but, but I thought Sid was the whiner? How f'in stupid would that crying mask promo would have been if their rag of a newspaper went through with it? CBJ may be a good team and they do play hard, but their shady tactics is where I wish for their sweep. They really wanted the Pens in the PO, so they got them and their ***** are being handed to them. Be careful what you wish for. . .

I mean hockey

Sam Werner ✔ @SWernerPG
Chris Kunitz skating on his own before the #Pens' practice in Cranberry today.

Oh no, 4th line, maybe - they don't need old and slow. Nothing good can come from Kunitz coming back. Nothing.

Who does Kunitz bump out of the top 6? Better not be Guentzel or Rust. Maybe he pushes Wilson down to the 4th.

Tom Kuhnhackl is on the ice for the #Pens’ practice today.

Poor Rusty, he hit the stick, oh well

Penguins PR @PensPRLady
.@penguins 3rd goal changed to Evgeni Malkin & it's unassisted. It was Malkin's 50th playoff goal, joining Lemieux, Jagr & Sid w/at least 50

Jake Guentzel: second rookie in NHL postseason history with a hat trick and an OT goal in the same game (Gerry Plamondon, Habs, 1949) #elias

I don't know who you sit if Kunitz is healthy. The good thing about #14, he will bang and doesn't mind getting dirty in front of the net. Saying that, you could sit Wilson. I don't know who they would sit if Hags comes back, as well. Good problem to have.

Pens gotta close it out tuesday. Don't go in over confident. It's been a physical series. So it would be nice to get the sweep and rest

That's too bad for the young man. Hope he has a fast recovery. It's amazing he came back at all last night.

Got to tip your hat to a guy who comes back in after that. That sure ****** his face up good.

I believe it was Jeremy Roenick and Anson Carter last night said that they probably shot his face up with novocaine and that's why his eye swelled. When they played, they would get stitched up with no shot so they could finish. That looks very painful regardless.

I think most of the swelling was because that slapshot broke his face.

Hopefully the Leafs will instill a little more doubt into the Caps minds tonight. One thing is for sure if they chase the Leafs around for 5,6 or even 7 games they ought to be pretty worn out for Game 1, and the Pens well rested.

I bet the Air Canada Center will be rocking tonight! Go Maple Leafs!

That's a tough tough dude. To back out there and try to play? A lot of respect for NHL players
