Yea, he's in the box unlike Maata. Plus the defense is just as bad except that Murray hasn't let in a goal yet. How many odd man chances have they had? The Pens are wanting to hit rather than defend. Nothing wrong with hitting IF it's done at the right time. When you are the only one between your man and the goalie then trying to hit a skater full on is ******* stupid.

The way I see it he's making them keep their heads on a swivel just like they are doing to us. Hope we keep up the physicality because that is the only way to win series like this and the reason why we were ousted by the Caps last year. Malkin was sent flying and no call so hopefully the refs either call it on both sides or put their whistles in their pockets.

We were ousted by the caps because of sloppy play and turnovers.. literally. Letang gave the puck away at center ice and the series was over. The Pens aren't a hitting team so they don't do it well. And they try to hit instead of making the smart play.

I disagree. I think they want no part of the physical game. You see guys pulling up to avoid a hit rather than take a hit to make a play. This soft style they are playing is gonna have them golfing in 4, maybe 5 games.

Its definitely not a good series for a finesse team but hopefully they find a way to play tough.

Ok right that one turnover cost em the series last year.... Throughout that whole series they had to keep their head on a swivel and that took away their ability to complete the precise passes. You know as well as I that for the most part that's their game. Isles are doing the same. Hoping we can keep up the physicality and somehow transition to a dump and grind team and if JJ or Gud has to crush someone then so be it. They are beating the **** out of us but its just not getting called

All NY has to do is play defense and let the pens **** up. Which they do. Geno needs to get his head out of his ***. He's so easily rattled into penalties and lazy passes. I hope this team has another gear. They need it.

Hitting always happens in the playoffs. The Pens won 2 cups without going wild hitting just to hit. You aren't going to stop the caps from hitting. The caps outhit them ever game... even in games they lose. Playing into their hands by making more mistakes doesn't help the situation.

I don't care if the Pens hit some.. all teams do. But don't take penalties and give up odd man rushes because of it. They are tied RIGHT NOW because they are sloppy with the puck. They could easily be down in this game by 3 goals if not for the goal post and Murray. They have also had to kill off 5 PPs because of all this great hitting.
