Just pasting them. 5-1 right now. It makes me feel a whole lot better. I do think they'll regroup,but damn I'd be going nuts as a fan.

I'm losing faith that is even possible this year. The next two at home should really define if they can.

They need a big third period.
 
Geno needs a goal. I can see him taking over this series. He has more passion than anyone else so far.

I don't care if the Pens hit some.. all teams do. But don't take penalties and give up odd man rushes because of it. They are tied RIGHT NOW because they are sloppy with the puck. They could easily be down in this game by 3 goals if not for the goal post and Murray. They have also had to kill off 5 PPs because of all this great hitting.

Those were some incredibly gritty teams a few years ago and they did not let the big names get abused. The cup wins back in the 90s were not all on the shoulders of Lemieux, Jagr and Francis, we had some excellent defensemen as well who helped keep the opposing forwards on their heels which is what I want to see. If it costs them a penalty so be it, but it would definitely help if the game was being called evenly. You are right though the retaliation penalties are absurd and will cost em.

I just do not want to see a repeat of last year when we were taking all the hits and letting them do whatever they wanted.

This is just depressing. Getting outplayed in all aspects. The Pens are just an also-ran team this year.

They were hitting tonight and they are about to go home down 2-0. The Pens just aren't a hitting team. They hit at times but they are a skill team. Now they are down 3-1 because Horny took another stupid penalty while hitting someone.

Well that should do it. You give them 600 power powerplays they're going to get one in.

Hopefully for your sake Maata will be back in the lineup on Sunday.
 
Geno with another half assed sloppy turnover that costs them the game. You know at this point if he was gone I wouldn't care. Then Horny with another stupid penalty. You know if you give one of the worst teams in the NHL enough power plays sooner or later they will score.

Like we said all year this team isn't good enough so what's it really matter.

I don't give a damn about Maata. He turns the puck over as well. But you got what you wanted right? They hit everything that moved and it took them out of their game. They didn't have their heads on a swivel tonight. So why didn't they score more than 1 goal? Why weren't the isles' head on a swivel?
 
So who is more likely to dig themselves out of a 0-2 hole the Lightning or the Pens?

Like I said watch them Jackets.
