2018-19 Penguins and NHL Offseason



For a team with that much talent, the Pens sure look awfully average these days. Is it time to find some young/hungry players in exchange for a few grizzled (and tired vets) or are they just getting some bad breaks?

Taylor Hall and NJ in general give us fits

Never thought I'd see the day when he'd drop the gloves. Did pretty good though and got in a couple good shots on the punk

It's amazing when the goalies get into a fight. I've talked **** my whole career from the crease, but never had a fight. My D always decapitates someone before they can touch me!

They cannot beat NJ! They don't even seem that good, but damn, they sure beat the Pens. I don't get it.
 
Will miss Hags speed, but the change is needed right now. The Pens got younger with a better scoring pedigree. We'll see. . .
 
I hope losing Hags work out. I'm disappointed to see him go now but he probably was moving on at the end of the year anyway. Pearson has never lived up to his lofty drafted position. I do like the potential upside. Pearson is younger, signed affordably through 2021. Yet another GMJR reclamation project. It worked for Hags when he came here. It might work for Pearson.
 
And in further ****** developments...… Crosby missed practice today. He is being evaluated for an upper body injury.
 
When is Brassard going to do something? That guys looking like a super trade bust.

I've always thought Brass was a very good hockey player. A better than average 2C. Then he came here and became a china doll. You can't score in the hot tub, so I agree this trade is looking bust.

He slammed into the boards pretty damn hard on that goal he set up the other night. Hope he didn't screw up his back.

Him taking a couple nights off might be the thing they need to get others to pick up their game.

Damn snow storm screwed my plans. Had to sell tickets ! Got most of my money back. Now I'm doing what any sensible person would do. I'm going to watch the game and get drunk !
 
What the heck with three guys in the box to finish the first period? My cell service can't keep up with my being in rural MO.

soooo, if nothing changes and they continue to be undisciplined and dropping games, when is Sully on the hot seat? I really like Sullivan and don't want him gone, but who goes next to get traded? The PK is really bad, our goalies are mediocre and we can't put two wins together. With Quenneville out there, I am curious what GMJR is thinking right now.
