2018-19 Penguins and NHL Offseason

Geno woke up. That's good. Brain fart second period. Giving up 4 goals sucks ***. At least they didn't give up a shorthanded goal and actually scored goals on the power play advantage
 
It was an inspired 3rd period.
The 4th line knows how to play, they don't have a scoring touch.
Malkin's line was flat out dominating the 3rd. Malkin was on a whole new level.
-Kessel and Bjustad showed some jump to boot.

Hornqvist is starting to scare me. He's taken a beating his time as a Pen.
I think he's starting to lose his marbles.

Sid just missed batting a puck out of the air to go into OT. Literally centimeters off.
This team has the talent, but lacks the attitude to match.
 
Well CBJ are now in 8th place and the Pens are outside looking in. They have played 2 less games as well.

Steelers suck, Pens suck....Maybe the Bucs will make a run this year..

The difference is that Sullivan may be unemployed soon,, while Tomlin, well . . . ,
 
Big national TV game today on NBC vs the rangers. 12:30. Time to get it...err or not. I hope I see 3 periods of hustle and precision.

This only turn it on part of the time stuff is killing them. There's absolutely no reason this team shouldn't make the playoffs and go deep. The desire,hunger and effort has to be there. The core of this group know exactly what it takes to win the cup. It takes A Lot.

It's that funny how in the NHL they do not **** around when it comes to coaching and underachieving.
 
Failure of Line 2, Malkin's line to play any sort of defense is killing this team. Malkin is a pathetic -18. That's a ton of goal differential when he's scoring at a PPG pace. The positive part of this is that Malkin is capable of putting the team on his back for long stretches. He has proven it in many past seasons. He has always needed someone to move the puck through the neutral zone and that's where the return of Schultz becomes huge. Schultz can transition safely.

I've called one and done playoffs for the team all year. I would love to be wrong but we did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

2 shots in like 8 games. I can't even believe this stat. Hard to be an elite sniper if you don't shoot the damn puck. He and Malkin need to go to couple's therapy.

I don't think these guys make the playoffs this season.
Seems like the lines are jumbled on guesstimate results.

Tied at 3 now. I don't see them making the playoffs this year. Defense isn't good enough.
 
Staying positive in crunch time. Not too often Letang gets 2 goals.
May need some of the jaggermeister here
 
Scored lots gave up lots. 10 goals given up in two games isn't a direction you should be going this late in the season.
 
That game was worth the ticket price for sure
