On the upside, our 2nd tier guys have been really stepping up.
 
Well it's a W. They only gave up 3 goals this game. I'd like to see 2 or 1 this next game which will be a chore and take commitment.
 
Beating the Devils and avoiding the sweep makes me feel a little better. That said, it should have been a blow out. Devils without Hall, Boyle and Vatanen are basically a JV team. 2 points absoluely works for me.

Simon playing over Blueger left me scratching my head a little ? I honestly didn't think Teddy would have the impact he did. I'm becoming a fan.

Too many teams still in the playoff mix and that's making it difficult to trade for the right guys. I would love to see Ferland from the Canes come here. He is an UFA for next year. He also wants paid Tom Wilson like money. He's big, has playoff grit and has developed a scoring touch. I'm probably smoking crack on this one.
 
Hagelin traded from LAK to of all places the freakiin' crapitals ! I liked Hagelin and feel bad for him on this. Craps likely won't sign him after the season, so he'll be moving again. He sure won't help their offense but Hags will be a pain in the *** for Sid.

Lazy effort by Kessel which leads to a Sharks shorthanded goal.
This team is flat like a pancake tonight
 
Starting to lose confidence that this team has any kind of a shot at the cup this year. Just not showing much.
 
this game sure hasn't started like we hoped. The Sharks are making the Pens look like an AHL team, second time this season. If this SJ doesn't win the Cup with all of this talent, they should fold up the tent and move to Quebec.
 
As I said before, there is something wrong with this team. The lazy effort, lack of focus and inconsistent performances is coming from somewhere. I wonder if Sully hasn’t run his course in Pittsburgh.
 
Lazy, lazy penalties, too many passes and they look slow as Hell. If these two teams played a 7-game series, SJ would win four in a row without breaking a sweat. I've always liked Kane and really wanted the Pens to trade for him when he was available.
 
Big ole bucket of suck again. They may as well try for the record of short handed goals given up. They're superb at making an advantage a disadvantage.
 
Kessel is suckville. What has happened to him? Trade him for Steven Hawking.

That last pass attempt by Crosby is how this whole game has gone. A refusal to shoot.
 
That was by far, the suckiest game from this team in a long time.
 
I think it's time to trade Phil, if there is any value there. They need a spark, big splash to compete with TB, WASH, CAR and the other top seeds in the East. I would talk to Philly on Saturday about Simmonds. If it takes our 1st, I'd talk to them about him and if they can trade Phil, you get a player back and free up salary to possibly work out a contract with Simmonds. Just a far fetched pipe dream, but they have to be desperate after what they saw against the SJ powerhouse again.
 
I think it's attitude vs talent. They play in small spurts then fizzle. I keep looking for that sustained spark.
 
They HAVE to trade Kessel. He ******* sucks! He flat out is a liability.
