I have never seen a team that turns the puck over uncontested the way the Pens do. Pucks jumping over sticks, players falling down, it’s ridiculous. It’s not happening to Buffalo, and doesn’t seem to happen to many if any of the Pens opponents. I don’t get it.

The Pens look completely disinterested. They have nothing for Buffalo at this point. Oh well. Maybe things will gel as the season goes along, but it’s not off to a promising start.

Yep, pretty sure this is just a continuation of where we left off last year, so I guess they are playing their latest brand of playoff hockey.

Turn overs, bad to no defense, out shot, and out hit. This team has no identity. They dump the puck but they don't hit. They just chase it and try to steal it. You've got to hit when you dump it. They aren't physical, fast or team oriented. They are just a collection of players right now. Hopefully they can pull some things together through the year but I don't see this team getting past the 1st round of the playoffs again this year. They look identical to last year's disaster of a team.
