Having a lesser cap hit didn't hurt his career either, it seems.
very true. I think Jarry is out of options to go to WBS or they lose him. I could be wrong on that, though.

He can go back down but he'll have to pass through waivers. The "one way" guarantees the same pay at either level. I'm hoping he never needs to go to WBS again (fingers crossed)
If Desmith passes through waivers it will create a log jam. Larmi is who they want to get playing time at WBS. D'Orio is who they want at Wheeling. Two guys that have shown potential. Then there is Tokarski at WBS, who has NHL experience. Can't wait for all this to shake out.

I agree that he will but for his development he would be better off in Europe. Learn two way play and gain confidence.

Trotman and Rust will be headed to LTIR. Sully said Rust will be out longer term.
JMFJ is still a Penguin. No one wants that contract and term. I hope Johnson decides to play with a chip on his shoulders and proves everyone wrong. Stranger things have happened.

Sucks about Rust. JMFJ should have shown some fire during pre-season but didn't. I doubt he turns it on now.

Pens sent Marino down to WBS. Probably for the best. Give him a chance to build some strength. I think we'll see him in the NHL in November.
I watched a few minutes of the Blues/Caps game. I see where the NBC announcers are still slobbering over all things Caps.
As they always are. I was hoping STL was going to blow them out of the building, but that didn't happen. I really didn't want WASH to get those two points. They are the Pats of the NHL.
