I really like this team with Jarry as the starting goalie. Murray can sub sometimes but he isn't the guy right now.

Shame the way Murray gave up the lead. The team is doing what it needs to do in front of Murray, but this guy is a mess. If this team wasn't red hot right now, Murray would be costing them games. The Met is ultra competitive right now, and this team needs every point it can get from every game it plays. The Pens cannot have a liability in net right now. Murray needs to play as little as possible. TBT, at this point, I would be looking moving him. Whatever magic he had in the Burgh is clearly in the rear view mirror. Makes me miss MAF all the more.

Man i had this penciled as a loss after the catfish tied it up then proceeded to pummel with shots...hell they had close to 50.

Nice way to close it out. This team has it together. Murray does not. He's a liability in a position that has to be solid to prevail.

The 2nd goal was awful. Low % shot from the side. All you need to do is hold the post but Murray lets it in. 2 other goals were horrible rebounds that he couldn't handle. IMHO this is a 4-1 game if Jarry plays.

Yeah the coach was talking about them running out of gas after the first. It showed. They still pulled it out thank god. Two days in a row of going hard and fast doesn't give enough recovery time for the legs.

Jarry would have done better, IMO. But, in my mind Murray is the back up goalie. The standard here is less. We only want the back up to get us the W, and he did. Kudos to him.

I still hope that he figures out what's wrong, and fixes it.

The Preds played both nights as well. They were blown out of the first game and the Steelers played their 4th line a lot in that game. Not sure why we got tired and they didn't.

Well they did give up almost 50 shots on goal. Something wasn't working. Anyhow they won and I'd really look at Jarry being your No.1 and Murray the backup on a permanent basis. Maybe a trade will be good for the Pens and Murray.

The team is en fuego and really clicking on 8 cylinders. I don't pretend to be a knowledgeable hockey fan but it looks like they are all playing a complete game on both sides of the ice. Lafferty got sloppy in the last game and I don't see him on the ice tonight so the coaching staff is definitely not putting up with much in the way of lazy/sloppy play.

Lafferty is catching on. I like him.
He’s fast, gritty and skilled.

I agree. Could have been much worse if he wasn't able to deflect himself a little. I hope the defender wasn't intentionally trying to trip him up.
