2 years ago they traded all their muscle away. Just keeping Reeves would have helped. I understand the "speed" kills philosophy but when your best two players are over 30 it's going to be hard in the playoffs with no muscle to back them up.

that was a really nice pre-Super Bowl game to watch if you're a Pens fan. I was getting a tad bit nervous, as they were hanging on for dear life, but they prevailed. Tanve's goal was HUGE, as was Murray! Great W!

Great win. Really enjoyed watching most of it between chores around the house. I was wondering when the Caps were going to start throwing their weight around. Surprised they waited till the third but also glad to see we could still score a goal on Tanevs line when they were going full bore.

I expect them to play 60 minutes of aggressive hockey next game so I hope the Pens are ready. My wife and are planning to be at that game. Going with Caps fans which should make it interesting.

I love this team. I believe in this team. But, I can't get over the impression that it is not as good since Sid came back. It's as if they no longer are willing to lead, but wait to see what Sid is doing. Rust and Tanev are the exceptions.

Sid seems like he's allergic to shooting. He was screaming in on the goalie's right, and passed it back instead. Don't get it. If you don't ever shoot, the opposing netminders know you won't shoot. Take the shot, Sid. When we needed a goal in OT last game, he did it. Don't get the thinking.

No kidding... Incredibly frustrating how a team with so much firepower can have such a poor power play with 87 back in the lineup.
