You don't know what they would do....sometimes QB has the ability to elevate the play of those around him. That's sort of what a franchise QB does, especially mobile who is able to make something out of nothing when a play breaks down with his legs. Ever thought about that?Lol
Would Daniels do this if he was a Steeler?
It would take them years to figure how to get him a decent online.
Goff isn't having a good game, and isn't on the same level as Mahomes, Allen or Lamar, but to say he isn't even a good QB is pretty ridiculous.
He has flaws and probably wouldn't play as well in many other offenses, but there are a lot of productive QBs you can say that about.
Testaverde never played as well as Goff has the past couple seasons or in his Superbowl season with the Rams.
When I was younger I had a weird re-occuring dream that Testaverde was a UPS driver and kept delivering me packages......I was not even a huge fan of himTestaverde was never on a team nearly as good as this Lions team. BTW, Vinny ended up having a better career than most people think. He's 16th all time in passing yards and when he retired, he may have been top 5. A bunch of guys passed him after he retired.
Goff is a system guy. He can play really well if he doesn't have to do too much. That's why McVey moved on from him. He knew he was a limited player. Lots of system QBs have good success. Sam Darnold just had a great year. Brock Purdy. Ryan Tannehill had some big seasons when the Titans had a great run game and AJ Brown.
Goff isn't a guy who can win very often when the game goes off script.
Maybe Washington would trade Dan Quinn for Tomlin even up......You don't know what they would do....sometimes QB has the ability to elevate the play of those around him. Make sure he brings the franchise QB with him or it will be much of the same or worse.Maybe Washington would trade Dan Quinn for Tomlin even up......
Never hurts to dream....
Maybe a team that was a little too confident? That was just a meltdown today with all the turnovers and a defense that couldn't stop anything Washington was doing.Well….. congratulations to Washington…. I am quite surprised. Detroit fans must be pissed.
That explains the $50.00 thingWhen I was younger I had a weird re-occuring dream that Testaverde was a UPS driver and kept delivering me packages......I was not even a huge fan of him

Ja-red GOFF! JA-red GOFF!
And a coachDaniels is money. Detroit bounced a check.
All it takes is two solid drafts including a QB.
Ja-red GOFF! JA-red GOFF!
Detroit is all knuckle dragging troglodyte at all times, it's all Dan Campbell knows and now we see where that gets him: A loss when it matters most. I knew his neanderthal ways would catch up to him and they did. All he could do is to stare off into the distance as his team just kept blizing. Washington just tore him apart, bit by bit, into shreds.Maybe Detroit should stop blitzing
A lot of people did. Unfortunately their defensive coach lost. I love defense but defense can't win in the modern NFL.Kinda sucks wanted the lions to win one .
Worked for them in the first half, then adjustments were made.Maybe Detroit should stop blitzing
