A&m/sc

with an inexperienced QB and this great defense, it is clear why SC is a top 10 team.

it's a shame how badly Texas A&M has struggled since joining the SEC. They will never be able to compete.

Didn't they lose 4 games last year with Johnnie amazing? I'm sure the big 10 would have been much more of a challenge though right?

Ha. Minor details.

Just wait until PSU-Northwestern. Then we'll get a REAL look at the playoff picture, and a long post about how comparable both teams really are to Auburn and Bama, both overrated hack schools.

True. Can't wait for that...

The difference is nobody is trying to paint every Big Ten team as an unbeatable machine. You guys do realize that this SEC hype has been a well planned propaganda campaign be ESPN which happened when the Big Ten announced they were forming their own network.

I don't care if people want to talk up Bama or another top SEC team. I just get tired of hearing how the whole SEC is great when the reality is they have good teams at the top, mediocre teams in the middle and bad teams at the bottom. The difference is the SEC may have 3 good teams where most other conference have 2. Great, rank those 3 teams, but quit trying to tell me how awesome Miss State is just for being on their schedule.

Most people I know and talk to undertand that the SEC is average in the middle. Not sure who you talk to.

Most of us also know that the middle/bottom of the SEC is usually quite a bit better than the middle/bottom of every where else

I would consider everyone not named LSU, Alabama, Auburn, and Georgia as "middle". Maybe add A&M to that list now.

Then **** ESPN. Just go by your eyeballs and the results. The SEC has beaten just about everyone put in front of them this decade; they've posted a sterling bowl record, and answered the bell with a vengeance in 7 of 8 national titles. They've passed around the championship from one program to another, beating every type of team along the way. They've also cranked out NFL success at a dazzling rate.

Sorry, but the SEC is not the Patriots or Tim Tebow, a bullshit story that ESPN has embellished into some historical juggernaut. The results are undeniable. I know you have a problem with the SEC's high rankings, but they're usually deserved and almost always get justified on the field.
