**** Avenatti, he's gone down the drain.
I supported his efforts during the pornstar Stormy Daniels case, where he stood up for his client faced with untold pressure to whitewash Trump paying her off to keep her mouth shut, weeks before the Presidential election.
When that went down, I respected his strong stance in representing her case. Given that Trump and his orbit did everything in their power to make that disappear, he stood strong and stated her case effectively. In the end Trump coughed up $130,000 to claim he never had an affair with her while his wife was home with their newborn. Very presidential.
Above and beyond that, Avenatti has shown to be a loose cannon, a money-grubbing, ambulance-chasing slimebag attorney. Screw him. I was wrong in elevating his stature on this board. My bad.
