A Tomlin special - is ANYBODY surprised by this embarrassing outing?

The same here regarding this game but I turned it back on for a tiny torture then enough. Regarding the pats, I disagree only because the almighty has placed us in football purgatory with HCMT.

How the **** do you line up with 12 men on the field, IN FORMATION and nobody realized someone was standing in their spot? Total lack of awareness and discipline

I am still struggling to acknowledge another incredible upset loss to a team 7 games under 500, at home no less.

I watch the games with my brother each week, and we half joked leading up to kickoff, here's another candidate for a classic Tomlin let-down loss to an inferior opponent.

Before it started, we were remarking that their first three draft picks for this year are looking really good... And playing.

Then, after the first drive.... The signs of the letdown came fast and furious. And didn't stop.

The coaching staff, top to bottom, are junk. What an embarrassment.

We get out coached all the time. When you watch what Texans are doing with their young QB in their offense and then look where Tomlin has ours....disappointment is one word that comes to mind.
 
this is a pattern with Tomlin. They have a win, then get real pleased with themselves and lay an egg vs a crap team.

Don;t worry, the pattern will still hold. Play great on a national TV game, Tomlin gets praised as one of the greatest coaches of all time. They'll probably beat up on the hapless Pats on Thursday and go right back to thinking everything's fine.

It's fiction,fools gold, a fabrication and it isn't winning ****.

Good grief go win half your games at a big college consistently and see if you don't get canned.

They'll fire you in hockey,baseball and basketball just the same.

When **** goes stale you get fired. That is unless your goal is truly competing to win championships.


This organization seems content with what they did 15 years ago.

This game was an obvious money line play for the Cardinals

A Tomlin special most of us saw coming miles away…sadly

I’m not so sure they’ll beat the Pats. We have no serviceable ILB’s. All they have to do is throw in the middle of the field and they will be successful. There are no gimmies left. Not after today.
 
It's a national TV game. Steelers always show up for those. The pats offense is historically bad. I actually think they are tanking. Not the players, but i wouldn't be surprised if Belichick is holding back just to lose and get a QB.

Even if that is so....I don't know if we can pull it out. If it comes down to simply coaching(even with Belicheat trying to tank) I am doubtful Tomlin is up for the task.
 
I get against a high quality opponent making a game a bit muddy and try to win an ugly, low scoring game. Against a team like the Cardinals, who haven't won on the road, you go out and try to put up points and dominate. This isn't even in the mindset of this team. The moment the Steelers didn't score from the one (why are we in the shotgun), I could just feel the loss coming on.

I love that you hear all week how we aren't taking them lightly...they are dangerous and then BOOM!!!!!. They kick our ***.

Take out the first drive and at times I truly felt like it was Canada calling the plays. In the end, the coaches sucked and the players sucked. Usually, when that happens you lose. And that we did.

The way the first drive started you had to feel good about the direction of the offense today and then it went back to normal. There were some good things, but I thought the line had protection issues and Pickett was slow in processing some plays today before leaving.
