You have seen our CB group, right? It's not like we can actually "bench" anyone fully, unless we want Blount covering at cb too, ****, he's returning kicks, so why not I guess.

He is having a tough time adapting to the new interpretation of illegal contact. He plays aggressive and he gets a penalty and he plays loose and he gets beat. At this point I'd imagine it is in his head. Tough situation. Put him in situations where he can regain his confidence and build on it. After the contract, they have to.

The kid seems to have what it takes and may have hit a bump in the road (so to speak) in his development. Nice article by the way t-man thanks for sharing. Allen will likely develop into a fair to good corner if Ike Taylor is any indication as to what is possible. There were lots of folks who hated William Gay and he has made several nice plays over the years while not being Deion Sanders or Rod Woodson or Mel Blount he has been pretty good. It would be nice if they get Cortez to become the replacement for IKE when he retires.

I have no issues of working Allen back in. But don't mistake that for force feeding him back in to painfully watch the same result. One or two plays Sunday is all he should play IMO. But I have a feeling it will be a lot more than that.
