Mueller’s investigation of Trump ‘needs to conclude,’ Sessions says

Attorney General Jeff Sessions said Thursday that an ongoing probe into President Trump “needs to conclude” in order to let him focus on North Korea, the U.S.-Mexico border and other world negotiations.

Mr. Sessions also said he expects the Justice Department inspector general to finish his investigation into the department’s and FBI’s handling of investigations into Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election in a “few weeks,” saying that will provide more information for decisions on whether there was wrongdoing.

It's about time that Sessions took back control of HIS Department, and this worthless **** show.

Yep, time for Mueller to end the witch hunt. Year long House investigation just concluded and shows NO EVIDENCE OF COLLUSION BETWEEN TRUMP AND RUSSIA.

House Intelligence GOP Releases Full Report Clearing Trump In Russia Imbroglio

The House intelligence committee concluded its Russia investigation on Friday by releasing a heavily redacted copy of its full report clearing Donald Trump's campaign of any wrongdoing.

The 243-page report calls contacts between Trump campaign aides and Russians "ill-advised" and acknowledges that at least one person in the case may have given "incomplete" answers. But overall, it found, there was no conspiracy to work with the foreign operatives attacking the election.

"While the committee found that several of the contacts between Trump associates and Russians — or their proxies, including Wikileaks — were ill-advised, the committee did not determine that Trump or anyone associated with him assisted Russia's active measures campaign," the report says.

Any crimes dug up by the Mueller fiasco at this point, should be handed over to local law enforcement for prosecution, and the Special Counsel should be shut down. We need to close this shameful episode in America's history, and get on with the business of improving our country.

My uncle lives in Canada and was a nuclear chemist. He had pretty high Govt clearances for a few countries (mainly US and Canada). He has traveled to many countries including Russia. Several countries bug hotel rooms and what not when foreign govt officials / VIPs visit. I guarantee you if Trump did anything in Russia it is out there somewhere.

Get to know Bob Mueller.

One only has to observe Mueller over the last year to know what he is about. Here again, as in so many different situations, liberals will not see the world as it is, regardless of the amount of evidence.

Agreed. He has been a beacon of impartiality and civility, showing great respect for the law and that it applies to all citizens equally. A true American hero and protector of the Republic from known enemies - inside and out - of the country.

Observe him over the last year? Could he have been anymore invisible? It’s not as if he has gone tweet for tweet with Trump or something. What you have observed is speculation about him and his motives.

LOL the Trump lawyer musical chairs continues. Will the last one out switch off the lights?

Why don’t they want to leave a legacy of having represented a POTUS throughout a historical investigation?

Why don’t they want to leave a legacy of having represented a POTUS throughout a historical investigation?

I know that's a rhetorical question, but the clear answer is that they can read the tea leaves as far as what's coming around the bend. And it won't be a pretty sight. There's word now that Mueller is planning to subpoena Trump and it all goes downhill from there.

Could he have been anymore invisible?

You actually believe over the past year Mueller has been invisible???

He's represented directly or indirectly on the news EVERY day, ALL day. Turn on any news channel.

Show me statements or leaks that came out of Mueller's office since this investigation began. I thought so.

Tell that to the three innocent people he sent to prison just to protect his mob boss in Boston. Two of those people died in prison. One has been freed but his life is now ruined.

Things are going oh so well in Trumpland. First Ty Cobb, now this >

Which has nothing at all to do with what Flog said. He said he's been invisible.

Do I need to quote Dictionary.com or Mr. Webster?

Mueller has not been invisible.

No no no, that isn't the justification. Anyone AGAINST Trump is a hero to Tibs and the Left. Their past transgressions, their character is irrelevant. If they are fighting for the soft coup overthrow of a US President that isn't a Democrat, said person is an American Hero.

They are going stunningly well for Trump. Not only is the economy booming, but jobs are still on the rise, ISIS is vastly unheard of, the courts are protected with Conservative justices, and now, this....

This is why we call it WINNING. No red lines in the sand. No idle threats from a pacifist President.

Trump Formally Nominated for Nobel Peace Prize
18 House Republicans send letter to prize committee

Republican lawmakers have nominated President Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. Eighteen House members penned a letter Wednesday to the Nobel Prize Committee praising the president’s efforts to broker peace in the Korean Peninsula, reports the Hill. "President Trump has worked tirelessly to apply maximum pressure on North Korea to end its illicit weapons program and bring peace to the region," the letter says. The lawmakers credit the president for the recent historic meeting between North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and South Korean President Moon Jae-in, in which the leaders agreed to rid the Peninsula of nuclear weapons and bring a formal end to the countries’ 68-year-old war. Although the countries entered into an armistice in 1953, they never signed an official peace treaty.

If the two countries can resolve their differences, Trump deserves the prize, Sen. Bob Corker told CNBC Wednesday, but the senator issued a caution. The Foreign Relations Committee chair said that North Korea has made several overtures in the last two decades, only to reverse course. In a separate interview with CNBC, retired Gen. Michael Hayden credited progress with North Korea to four things: "The president squeezing the [North] Koreans, the economic sanctions, the diplomatic isolation, the military demonstrations.” He added, though, that Trump's earlier tweets about Kim, in which he famously called him “Rocket Man,” were not helpful. Trump plans to meet with the North Korean leader in the next month or so. If the meeting takes place, it would be the first time a sitting US president has met with a North Korean leader. (South Korean President Moon Jae-in says Trump deserves the prize.)

---------------

The best part?

Unlike Obama's undeserved Nobel Prize, this one will mean something and be awarded because of a tangible result.

Wait, what? You want somebody from Mueller's 23 lawyer team (or whatever the **** number it is) to admit to leaking information about an ongoing investigation? It's a crime to leak information on an ongoing investigation, Tibs. I love you, man, but for crying out loud, a tremendous amount of leaked information - about the raid on Cohen's office, the subpoena for records from Cohen, the questioning of Donald Trump, Jr., and on and on - has come from Mueller's supposedly "elite" team.
