before injury

Diver is his play above or below the line in your opinion? If the answer is below then you look inside and outside the organization for above the line. There is a difference between steady and serviceable and unwilling and largely useless. You can always find serviceable on the street.

Like to me it's as simple as how do you conduct film. You are going to get on a guy for something like his technique or execution and he is sitting there going that mother#####%% sitting over there doesn't even take his gap. Ever.

His play is below the line. I would try to replace him. I can understand why they may not be though, and I don't think it is some ulterior motive thing. I think he has talent and they a giving him the time to see if he can find it again. No more, no less. I just don't think it is this they don't want to be proven wrong and all that.

We all judge the why but in the end tge why is irrelevant. They have continued to let a player who's play is below the line try to contribute. They had an entire offseason to consider their own talent and comb FA. Not to find a star. Just above the line. They did not.

The most important position on the team is filled by an inexperienced kid..

We really don’t need other positions, whether offense or defense, to be filled by “inexperienced kids”..

Starting Bush is a no brainer for the coaches ..

Well they are very well equipped coaches for that.

There absolutely is an alterior motive. ABSOLUTELY . It is his draft status.

Ok. We just differ on the what constitutes an ulterior motive. When I think ulterior motive, I think something devious is afoot. His draft status is an important issue here. However, I think it is more about the fact that he was a 1st for a reason. The talent, the speed, the explosiveness that he had is what got him drafted where he was. I really believe it is about the Steelers trying to give him time to see if he can put it together. Robinson was a 7th for a reason. Those guys never get as much rope because they haven't displayed those traits with consistency that would have gotten them in the 1st. I think any coach would give great potential more leeway.

Depot has an article on Bush's play improvement in regards to the run and pass. There for anyone who wants to read it. Breaks down some plays. Thought it was a solid read..

Tomlin sticks with his guys, and sometimes the only reason that makes any sense is that he thinks he has some special insight, genius, etc.

It's simple - if someone is not producing, you coach them up and/or replace them. Even a no -pedigree guy can show something special.

Maybe they are taking the same approach they take with their coaches, head man included.
