I share with you words of a friend of mine. I couldn't have said it better.
RANT::: A black man wears a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat to a Cheesecake Factory in Miami and his table is slowly surrounded by staff. Like their brethren jackals in the press, this is the code of the new leftist. The double standard applies, if this gentleman had been treated accordingly with a Hillary shirt, the outrage would be overwhelming. Justifiably so. This sort of intimidation is simply impermissible. It’s disturbingly mob-like.
It’s an extreme case but it’s happening with greater regularity. This is why my good conservative friends remain quiet, even if they are genuinely unenthusiastic about the president but support his policies otherwise. They are afraid. They are afraid of losing friends, being persecuted professionally. This sort of stuff chills.
Though I don’t wear political gear, I experienced this. I have my opinions. I ran for office and took unpopular stances on life and marriage. I’d like to think I’m fairly reasoned, and while I’ve not been surrounded by jackals in a public restaurant, I was spit on, I definitely sensed something more surreptitious from others moving against me. I do still. A distancing, etc.
This goes on every day in public, at work and on Facebook. They move on opponents in public, in private. The left plays for keeps. They preach tolerance, but as this instance show cases they have nothing but contempt for conservatives, Republicans. It’s not just Trump or MAGA. They will always hold you and I in disregard. Some just show it more than others.
