Black Monday - Coaching Changes

LOL Garrett hasn't been fired yet.

Then again Tomlin's still here so....

Fitz would look good in black and gold. He isn't being used properly in Miami.

Appears they're sticking with Fitzpatrick as the starter for at least one more year given this hire.

Chan has a long history of bringing along young QB's. Fitz will be there for a year while Chan grooms the QB they take in the first.

He'll probably land a job sometime soon. Hope for his and his family's sake he avoids Cleveland.

In all seriousness, he probably could make something of that team

Interesting that they waited for the Skins to sign Rivera before they let him go.

who in their right mind would take the Browns job...it will probably be a retread fired coach or a young unproven position coach too impatient to wait for a turn at a good job.

Where coaches, gms, and players go to die

Cleveland has an opening.

If he made it there and couldn't take the "factory of sadness" I'm afraid we'd have a "ginger snap".

Salute the nation

Atleast Ravens will probably be losing their OC and DC. Fichtner wouldn't even get an assistant video recorder job for another team.

I know a team that might be looking...

that team requires stealth and disguise as well as the ability to change tactics as required from its video teams so...

Garrett's contract expires on 1/14. He's out

To me Garrett is the only guy (outside obviously Marvin Lewis) to get more passes than Tomlin. At least Tomlin you could say Ben is past his prime. The Cowboys have what should be Franchise players galore. And that my friend is what happens when you hang on too long. The guy is going to be gone eventually anyway. You are just slowing down the process of finding the "Right guy" . Once you don't believe your coach can take you to a championship win, he should be gone. I don't see how Tomlin could take this team to a championship.

Garrett is a heck if an OC but not cut out to be a head coach... ill never know why people think Success or failure at those two positions are tied to each other... they are different skillsets entirely... you can be a ****** OC but a great HC and vice versa...

Tom Brady to the Steelers

reports are that CLE will hire HC before GM. that is some **** right there...they may as well give HC the GM duties because whatever GM they can convince to come in is probably a lame duck.

And I read this morning that both the new GM and HC will report to ownership as equals.

Yeah that will work Haslams.

It seems not. You can pretty much come up with ANY asinine excuse and the NFL will accept it at face value.

As for Cleveland asking to interview Josh McDaniels...

Who in their right mind would even LOOK at him after that bullshit he pulled in Indy?
