Black Monday - Coaching Changes

Tom Brady to the Steelers

Honestly I don't think he'd do as well anywhere else with no one talking into his earpiece telling him where to throw.

Breaking News Alert!

Jason Garrett is still head coach of the Cowboys

As for Cleveland asking to interview Josh McDaniels...

Who in their right mind would even LOOK at him after that bullshit he pulled in Indy?

I have no idea how his name gets tossed around annually for vacancies. You would think he would be blacklisted by everyone. Go for it Cleveland! lol.

Looks like Eric Bieniemy is gonna be someone's head coach. Supposed to be visiting Giants, Browns and Panthers.

Robert Saleh is interviewing with the Browns today. I hope he passes on them and waits for a better job in the AFCN when that becomes available.

To me Garrett is the only guy (outside obviously Marvin Lewis) to get more passes than Tomlin. At least Tomlin you could say Ben is past his prime. The Cowboys have what should be Franchise players galore. And that my friend is what happens when you hang on too long. The guy is going to be gone eventually anyway. You are just slowing down the process of finding the "Right guy" . Once you don't believe your coach can take you to a championship win, he should be gone. I don't see how Tomlin could take this team to a championship.

Ironically, marvn Lewis has already met with the cowboys for the coaching position. Reported by ESPN

He would look good in black N gold !!!!!

Salute the nation

Dallas wants to go with a NFL experienced coach. So I am thinking Marvin was a HC interview. As was McCarthy....

Mike McCarthy is the 'boys' new HC.

I think the whole Mike McCarthy/ Green Bay Packers dynamic is very on point with the Steelers coaching situation. Celebrated team with a long history of excellence both historically and recently. McCarthy was a very successful coach there but message ran thin. They dumped him. He has moved on and we shall see his success with another well resourced team. But the Packers moved on and are a two seed hosting the divisional round. The sky didn't fall for them. I don't think they will win a SB. Might not even win next week. But how much worse off are they really?

I put a decent amount of blame on AR. Lot of tumbleweeds floating around about him not being the easiest person to interact with. Some of it sure was sure the message got old too. Tomlin is certainly in that realm of thought but his issues tie into his lack of X and O capability more than anything. Probably no end to his motivational skills. One of his strengths. Unfortunately it doesn't outweigh his weaknesses.

Talk about rehashing guys with experience.... McCarthy as HC and Mike Nolan as DC.

Those guys were relevant 20 years ago. Talk about a good-ole-boys network. You never really get fired from the NFL....

Matt Rhule to Carolina.

Joe Judge to New York.
