Josh Harris may get a look and Tashard Choice is out there too. I wouldn't be surprised if they went with Harris though. He is extremely fast for a 200+# RB.

I think it was being handled internally. The original report was that several players had spoken with Tomlin and expressed their desire that Blount be released. Blount's actions last night may have just drove their points home for Tomlin.

That would speak to some leadership and I'd be ALL for it!

Tate will not be coming here. He was upset that he was not the starter in Cleveland. Why would he come here for minimal money to be a #2 when there are better contenders in need of potential starters at the RB position and who have more cap room?

I was trying to say, but didn't make myself clear ... that Josh Harris has been promoted from the practice squad. Happened about 15 - 20 minutes ago. They plan to go with Archer and Harris as the backups.

Might be a blessing in disguise. Archer has looked his best when just taking a handoff. Get the kid some confidence and maybe other factors of his game takes off too
