Blount released..

Clearly one coach can manage Blount and use him and one cannot. Draw your own conclusions. Blount knew he was the backup that is clear. But clearly he didn't sign on for 1-4 carries a game.

He signed on because his previous team didn't offer him as much. He got his money, and he wanted the football more too. He didn't get the football, he whined, we cut him. End of story. Dude has been a malcontent all over this league, not exactly a surprise he was one here, **** him. If Tomlin was the players coach many say he is, Ledouchbag would still be here.

My conclusion is Blount is a ******* ********, and as soon as **** goes south in pattyland, the same horseshit will happen. **** him he deserves that cheating ******* prick, and they deserve him.

Joe

Belichek is no better at controlling people than Tomlin. But when it comes to the X's and O's of football, Tomlin is a child compared to most high school coaches, whereas Belichek knows how to put an NFL game plan together like few others do. And winning games is what keeps his players in line for the most part, his team would fall apart if they ever finished a season under .500. But finishing under .500 in that division isn't going to happen anytime soon.

Examine, for a moment the divisional quarterbacks in the AFC East. EJ Manuel/Kyle Orton (Buff), Geno Smith/Michael Vick (NYJ), Ryan Tannehill/Matt Moore....very competitve Quarterbacking lineup in that division. Prior to that it was Fitzpatrick, JP Losman, Sanchez, Favre, Huard, Henne....Belicheks been feastin on grade B QB talent in that division for years.

He does a fantastic job puttin gameplans together because hes gotten great at taping the opposition. He wasnt **** pre-Brady era, and wont be much more than **** when Marsha retires. He had a vry poor winning pctg before NE. Look at his Browns years....he was atrocious. ONce he hitched himself to Brady (and it was the hit by Marvin Jones vs Bledsoe that ushered in the Brady era) he started lookin like genius. When you play with a lead you can experiment as a Defensive coordinator/Head coach (with DCoord experience)

True. The Pats* wouldn't get as far in the playoffs and score as many points as they often do if they weren't pretty good, but except for Miami occasionally showing flashes of competitiveness their division has been pretty bad for almost 20 years.

I thought there were no easy schedules? Also didn't the Steelers just lose to the Jets who are QBed by Vick? The pats* have played the division leaders this year and have won by around 22 PPG. Who else can they play? They destroyed the bungles, the Colts (on the road) and the Broncos.

Also how do these names fit? Boller, Grbac, Banks, Dilfer, Campbell, Weeden, McCoy, Quinn, Anderson, Frye, Dilfer, Garcia, Couch, Kitna, Smith, Blake, and Fitzpatrick. The only decent Qbs in the past few years are Flacco (who everybody thinks is over rated), Palmer (who never won a playoff game), and Dalton (who's never won a playoff game). At least Sanchez went to 2 AFCC games and Vick has won in the playoffs. Outside of Flacco the Qbs in the division suck ***.

It would be different if the pats* won all their division games and struggled outside of it. But that isn't the case at all. Miami beat them this year but they are killing almost every team outside the division. The Steelers haven't competed with them one on one since Brady arrived. I think Brady is 5-1 or something like that against the Steelers. And most of those games aren't even close.

Another writer for a major Pittsburgh newspaper wrote about how the Steelers botched the Blount release. OK two of them wrote about it, will any of them bring it up in the presser?

You can say what you want about cheating. That was 8 years ago or whatever. Belichek had a team lose two bad games in a row and they now look like the class of the NFL, beating the Broncos, Colts and Detroit in a short span. Belichek doesn't lose to teams like the Jets and Tampa very often. And he can bring in hired talent like Blount and make it work for him. That is how he has made playoffs for essentially the last 14 years straight. If you look at Brady's raw stat numbers they are high, but not usually jaw dropping. His numbers are lower than Ben's this year. But Belichek knows how to win. He is playing chess while Tomlin plays checkers. Simple as that.

The only thing they could of done is suspend him for one game then released him therefore delaying his return to the Patriots by a week. Why continue to have the distraction around? Pull the band aid right off and let him go.

So, being a superstar quarterback excuses him being a douchebag? And it's great that everyone is getting along swell at this point in time and he's taking care of his responsibilities. I guess we'll just have to disagree about whether or not the original action was the act of a douche or not. It is after all a matter of opinion.

Sorry, I can't agree that Brady banging multiple supermodels, then marrying the one he really cared about, and taking care of his obligations to the other (to the point where they remain cordial and both involved in their son's life), is such an egregious case of being a douchebag. Neither does his behavior indicate that he kept "doing stupid ****" because he didn't respect Belichick, as you tried to erroneously pontificate.

"Doing stupid ****" is getting caught with marijuana on your way to a preseason game, then pouting and leaving a regular season game early because you feel like it.

Truthfully, Belichik has about as much control over who Brady screws and when, as Tomlin had over Bell and Blount's decision to spark one up on the way to the mall. Which is none. The point is that all teams have to put up with the stupid off field ****, including the Pats*. As far as Blount's on field actions last week, they decided to release him. Can't say I disagree with it.

I apologize if my mentioning Brady's ... ummm... transgressions made it difficult to focus on the other examples to the extent that it was the only thing you chose to respond to.

What you need to understand about the *'s is that they are still cheating.

As long as Ernie Adams and Hoodie are together, the *'s are cheating. It's that simple. Ernie has a photographic memory. The *'s steal radio and video signals, use those signals before the games to translate their opponent's offenses and defense and then during the games use the signals to interpret their opponents' play calls as they come in. Then they send them down, real-time to their defensive captains o the field and to Brady on the offense who calls the perfect play or audible to get just the right amount of yards necessary. Or Tom makes just the right throw to the receiver who happens to be wide open. (The ONE guy, btw, who happens to be uncovered.)

Meanwhile the defense just happens to have the perfect defense dialed up at just the right moment, or they blitz just the right guy, or the opposing QB's headset stops working at the critical moment of the game when he needs a call in from the sideline and can't get one so he either has to call a time out or just audible something himself.

Nope. The *'s are still cheating. They're doing it larger than life. And they'll continue to do it as long as Ernie and Hoodie are together. And one of two things will happen. Either Hoodie with retire with Ernie, or Ernie will retire and the *'s will suddenly become a very normal looking team.

It's a crime that Tom Brady will one day be in the Hall of Fame. Mostly it's a shame for him. We'll never know how good he might have been able to play had he been allowed to actually play without cheating.

Yep, I don't believe for one second that they've fully stopped all of their illegal activities. And I also don't care what Cowher said about it not mattering after he became a corporate shill for CBS, a company that's in bed with the *'s with their CBS Scene built next to the *'s stadium.

Furthermore, their division has completely sucked for over a decade. Belicheat and Co. have not had a .500 or losing record in their division since 2000 (that year the Colts were in their division). Since 2001 their worst division record has been 4-2 with five 5-1 finishes and two 6-0 runs. Since the league realigned in '02, 12 completed seasons, the Jets have made the playoffs 5 times and the Dolphins once. That's it. And, of course, the Bills have had just 1 winning season in that time frame at 9-7. Pathetic.

They got a slap on the wrist , of course they are still cheating. And will do so until hoody or Goodell is run off. (Krafts buddy)

I have only one response to this .... Well said sir; well said.

The Pats are 50-4 when favored by 7 or more points at home, Tomlin can't sniff that type of success.

So let me get this right. The coach determines who wins and loses games?Got it. So why even have so many players if the coach has that much power? I mean, if we had Belichek we'd be 16-0 right? Who needs a team full of football players.

No, you're way off base. A coach has nothing to do with the team's performance*. He has NO responsibility for gameplanning, strategizing, team organization, preparation, discipline, etc. As one poster famously stated, he's only there to give press conferences.

*Unless, of course, they won a Super Bowl six years ago. Then they're grandfathered into the Bestest Coaches Club for life.

Truthfully, Brady's "stupid ****" off-field girlfriend escapades didn't matter an iota to Belichick (same thing with Gronkowski -- hanging out with strippers? Oh the humanity!), whereas the more serious issues like crimes or football-related problems would have had much more relevance.

I apologize if you can't understand the difference.

Well, let me restate (again) in for you a more relevant context. Belichik has about as much control over Alfonzo Dennard's decision to get drunk and jump behind the wheel of his car (twice), as Tomlin had over Bell and Blount's decision to spark one up on the way to the mall. Which is none.

Again, in case you actually missed the point and are not just ignoring it, the point is that all teams have to put up with the stupid off field ****, including the Pats*.

Sure, to some highly advanced posters around here (not mentioning any names), one of your star tight ends going to jail for murdering a few people is simply categorized as some more stupid **** that all teams have to put up with, just like guys getting supermodels pregnant and partying with strippers.

Stupid is as stupid does, I guess.

Awww schucks, I'm still on your mind? ... Well, let it be known that the level of admiration I have for you can't be measured. :D
