Blount released..

Shows what a good coach can do for a headcad player.. Tomlin ... Players don't respect him

That's ******* stupid. You prefer he play that punk over Bell? THAT is Tomlin's only choice. Blount cried like a ***** and walked off on his team as his teammate had a two hundred yard game. He was never going to get more than a handful of touches here because the guy in front of him is twice the player with a better attitude. He went back to a team with **** at his position. If it were me I would have made his sorry *** rot on the inactive list the rest of the year instead of helping him out by cutting him.

Really? I think it shows what a hypocrite Belichick is.

He sits a players who was late for practice, but he signs a player who walks off the field before the game has ended.

Like him or not Belichek gets production out if his players.

Tomlin may be liked, but if his players respected him so much they wouldn't keep doing the same stupid ****. My opinion... Don't like it.. Go kick sand.

Again, Belichick is a bit of a hypocrite...

Like oversleeping and missing team meetings? Or killing people? Partying with strippers and having pics posted on twitter (twice) or stripping yourself (partially) and partying onstage right after losing the Super Bowl? Fathering a child out of wedlock and marrying another chick?

Belichek is no better at controlling people than Tomlin. But when it comes to the X's and O's of football, Tomlin is a child compared to most high school coaches, whereas Belichek knows how to put an NFL game plan together like few others do. And winning games is what keeps his players in line for the most part, his team would fall apart if they ever finished a season under .500. But finishing under .500 in that division isn't going to happen anytime soon.

Fathering a child out of wedlock...oh the humanity!

LOL.

I don't think it is a matter of Belichek getting more out of Blount. Blount played pretty much as expected. I just think that Belichek is a lot like Noll. He can use any guy with talent as a chess piece. The player knows he can't pull **** or he will be gone instantly. No drama. Just clean out your locker and leave. The players fall into line with that. Tomlin isn't that type of coach.

On the level of douchebaggery, Brady knocking up Moynahan, immediately leaving her and marrying Giselle shortly thereafter ranks pretty high. If Ben did the same type of thing, he'd be castigated in Steeler Nation. But, since it's Brady, it's just something to make light of .... right?

Sure. Superstar quarterback is getting laid by more than one model, decides to marry the younger one. Oh the humanity!

And, boy, it really looks like that rat-******* isn't taking care of his ex and their son, either. Seems to me they're getting along just fine:

So, being a superstar quarterback excuses him being a douchebag? And it's great that everyone is getting along swell at this point in time and he's taking care of his responsibilities. I guess we'll just have to disagree about whether or not the original action was the act of a douche or not. It is after all a matter of opinion.

Lol just wouldn't be a thread without everything being Tomlin's fault.

In other news tho... I was late to work today because I don't respect Tomlin.

Belichek is able to use a player like Blount as a chess piece and then discard him as required. He has done this time and again. Tomlin is unable to avoid the distractive nature of someone like Blount, likely because he wasn't honest with the guy in the first place. Now blount, had two TDs and like 80 yards in one game. More than any of his previous 11 games. Draw your own conclusions.

Conclusion Drawn; Chess piece had 78 yards and 2 TDs for his 9-2 team. Tomlin's punishment was really felt by Blount. I bet he really learned his lesson to NOT be a big *** cry baby self centered ****** teammate *****. I am certain it's not Tomlin's fault, but IMO anyone in a leadership postion would have/could have predicted a scenerio like this and would have taken measures to ensure it didn't happen, so as to protect the organization/team.

Bottomline; I wish I could suck at my job like he does with the same level of job security as he does.

It's also possible that Blunt played a little more than he normally will for the Pats* because their starting RB was suspended for a week. This week and moving forward Blunt goes back to picking splinters out of his ***. Of course with the Pats*, Belicheat says "There's only room for one malcontent ******* around here and that's me."

Did I miss something or didn't Bell just have a 204 yard game? His emergence as the true "Factor Back" on this team meant Blount was only going to get limited carries anyway. There weren't going to be many (if any) more 10 carry, 118 yard games sitting behind Bell.

Truthfully, if Blount was the cancer that Pouncey insinuated he was, I'm glad he's gone. It's not like he was performing in his position as the goal line and short yardage RB here. Hell, his last action saw him get 5 rushes and 0 (ZERO) yards. Keeping him on the roster another week wouldn't have accomplished anything other than to give him more opportunities to act out.

So he had a good game for the Pats*. Did anyone here think he was talentless. That after the Steelers let him go he'd never gain another yard, score another TD for the rest of his life?

Lets be clear, I'm not saying they shouldn't have gotten rid of Blount, I largely believe they had no choice. However, he was brought in under an expectation. Was that expectation created by Tomlin? You can't tell a guy he is going to get 7-10 carries a game and then he gets 1-3. You have to tell him, Bell is our guy. You are the insurance policy, you will get the ball dependent on how he and you are playing. Now that insurance policy is gone and they have done nothing to address it on a two week break. If Bell is lost, they are ******. Simple as that.

Oh bullshit. So, you are telling me that when any player comes in with an expectation, the coaches should hold to that expectation, regardless of the situation? Blount didn't know he was going to be a back up? In half of the games leading up to his last, he had 7-10 carries per game. In three of the games in which he didn't have 7 or more carries, Bell had less than 20. So, not a lot of Rushing in those three games, apparently.

In any event, Blount knew his role coming into the team. Bell is the man, Blount is the back up. Bell has exploded this season. Should we a) keep a "promise" to a backup RB and piss of what seems to be a star RB or b) get the back up in the game at a time when, you know, a back up should be in the game and let him worry about his vaginal sand.

Should the Cowboys review their back up RB's expectations and take Murray out when they feel the back up may get his feelings hurt?

Clearly one coach can manage Blount and use him and one cannot. Draw your own conclusions. Blount knew he was the backup that is clear. But clearly he didn't sign on for 1-4 carries a game.
