Brady retiring

The Cheaters definately cheated to a way higher degree than we the fans know. It definately made a difference in out come of games. Both those statements are undisputable.

Actually, everything you posted is extremely disputable. With that said, most of the opinions in this thread seem more about opting for make believe fantasy in an attempt to preserve certain individual's bruised egos more than it does an actual quest for the truth.

Oh. I see. So, now the narrative is more people would be corroborating these "Patriot cheat" accusations but out of fear of the NFL cutting their brake lines or sending men in black suites to their homes with semi-automatics, they are opting to stay silent and preserve their own safety instead?

Serious question. Wouldn't just admitting that the Pats were better than us be a lot easier and more sound than all of this?

Wow great strategy, your whole game is weak Sweet Sucking Sammy.

Their cheating more likely than not cost the STEELERS multiple oppertunities at a chance for Super Bowl titles.

Nope. It was the Steelers not being as good as the Patriots that cost them multiple Super Bowls.

Not one thing you presented with is a fact and you want to talk fantasy to another poster?😅 What a maroon.

Says the cheatriot fan which means nothing I am afraid.

K Samantha time to do some light things in prep for the game later. You be a good girl and start that Frogger game. I have faith in your step...ping ability.

I think what
On a positive note, if Brady doesn't retire, the Steelers are scheduled to play them at Heinz Field this year. I'm sure Brady and Arians are already plotting what type of cheating will be necessary to beat a rival that is coached by Tomlin and an offense lead by Canada and Rudolph.

For Brady's sake, I hope Mason doesn't make this a shoot-out. I can't see that ending well for Tom.
go one step forward… why in the **** would they destroy the tapes they seized if tgey didn’t have damning evidence my gosh they would have been plastered on every single news station to diffuse the situation

The Cheatriots weren't just accused of things, they were found guilty. And, Goddell destroyed the evidence in spygate so no one could see to what extent they were cheating at the time. Ben was accused of things but the accusations were found to be completely baseless and no charges were filed.

This article is tge most extensive written about it… multiple players and media guys have said it was way worse than that… and a lot is left out… but it’s usually enough to shut pats* defenders down…

"The reason I destroyed the tapes is they were totally consistent with what the team told me," Goodell said during his State of the NFL speech.

I just did a google check in an attempt to find a citation that outlines how the Patriots were found responsible for this. Google was unable to deliver any such citation. Thoughts on why this might be?
Google "Patriots Cheating Scandals" and you'll find hundreds of articles with citations, player quotes, and the plenty of times they were caught and punished for it.

Here is an article from the first page of results.

1) "Deflategate

An NFL investigation found that 11 of the 12 footballs used by New England were underinflated during the Patriots 45-7 win against Indianapolis in the 2015 AFC Championship game."

(This is undeniably against league rules...aka cheating.)

From Fox Sports... "Noted in that release is that the New England Patriots will forfeit a fourth-round pick, No. 132 overall — their final punishment for the Deflategate scandal. The Pats already had been stripped of their 2016 first-round pick, fined $1 million and hit with the four-game suspension of Tom Brady."

(Proof of being caught and punished for cheating. The team and Brady were both hit with punishments.)

2) "Spygate

Another NFL investigation found the Patriots illegally videotaped the New York Jets defensive signals during a game in 2007. The Patriots were penalized a first-round draft pick, fined $250,000 and New England head coach Bill Belichick was personally fined $500,000."

(Now the public doesn't know what was on those tapes because the NFL "destroyed" them without releasing them, most likely to save the integrity of the league. But it's undeniable whatever was on the tapes was against league rules as the Pats were punished by losing a 1st round pick and both the team and Belichick himself were fined 6 figures.)

3) "False injury reports

Patriots coach Bill Belichick is well known for "finessing" the NFL's injury list. Two ex-Patriots (Brandon Spikes, Aqib Talib) said the team regularly falsified injury reports. "The Patriots have their way of reporting stuff," Talib said."

(A citation from an actual former Patriot who corroborates this accusation. There are also quotes from Brandon Spikes he was put on IR just so the Pats could gain a roster spot heading into the playoffs despite wanting to and being able to continue to play...again against league rules...aka cheating.)

4) Illegal Taping of Bengals practices

This is the most recent example of cheating and proof that the Pats have been serial cheaters under Belichick.

Patriot staffers were caught illegally taping a Bengals practice. They were fined $1.1m and docked a 3rd round pick as punishment. The team even admitted to it. (Are you able to admit this to yourself?)

So there you have 4 corroborated instances of cheating ("citations", if you will), 3 of which resulted in discipline from the league. And this is only what they were caught doing...any logical person would conclude there are likely many instances where they did things against the rules and were never caught. Especially considering all the former players who have had suspicions of other instances of cheating but just couldn't prove it. And even when they were caught cheating with Spygate, they were caught doing the same thing they were already punished for with the Bengals taping...all under Belichick and Brady.

I am very much looking forward to your alternate reality response to the undeniable proof your team and beloved coach/QB tandem are serial cheaters. But most likely we will hear crickets...

"The reason I destroyed the tapes is they were totally consistent with what the team told me," Goodell said during his State of the NFL speech.
Read that espn article… Rodger Goodell is scum and he buried things and lied about it…

Only pats fans can’t accept that theircteam only dominated because their coach was the greatest systematic cheater ever…

Again it’s been about twenty years… sooner or later one of the guys is going to cut a book deal… BB burned a lot of bridges and isn’t well liked… the first time one of tge players that was illicitly miked or in the know gets in money trouble the real **** is going to come out…

Deflect and defend all you want… brady is a designer steroid ***** who cheated most of his career and BB was a fraud who cheated back to his Cleveland days

Usually about now they start the whataboutisms… ohhhh the some of the 70’s Steelers used steroids ( yep back before they were illegal or banned by the nfl… they sure did, just like some players on every team after 1963) it would be like the league banning caffeine then people accusing players ten years ago of drinking it as if they did something wrong

Oooh the Steelers once violated the salary cap ( by accident and by like 80g due to a bonus kicking in early,.. they also self reported and refused clemency by the league though im not sure any pats fan reveals that for some unknown reason

Mike tomlin once tried to trip a guy…. Yep he is a jackass and every one of us lambasted him for it here… if he had been fired we’d have cheered

Read that espn article… Rodger Goodell is scum and he buried things and lied about it…
Yep. Much like every other citation provided that was supposed to represent a smoking gun, I read your article and nowhere did I see anything about "Goodell being scum who buried things". He provided a reason why he destroyed the tapes. You don't like the reason given because it isn't in-line with the conspiracy that you are peddling which would support your notion that they had to cheat to beat the Steelers.

Ok. Once there is evidence for your claims, let me know. Thanks.

Again it was provided for you Samantha. It is nobody else's problem you can't comprehend troll.

Against league rules, but can you provide a citation proving that Brady / Belichick ordered that these balls be deflated, or even know they were deflated for that matter? Thanks in advance.

They have provided all the info you need Samantha. Denial is a ************ huh? Doesn't change documented facts though.

I can recall Belichick saying there was some confusion on his part regarding what was allowed to be recorded, but I don't recall any evidence of a grand conspiracy. If you have evidence proving conspiracy, could you please share? The league issuing sanctions isn't proof of guilt.

Regarding your second accusation that the league "destroyed tapes to save the integrity of the game", is biased speculation on your part. There is no proof that this was the case. And reasonable individuals who aren't jaded by the Pats beating their teams likely wouldn't reach the same conclusions.

nitsuj - if two of your neighbors were to phone the police to accuse you of dealing drugs out of your house, would this be proof beyond a reasonable doubt of your guilt? Please advise.

Of course they did the statistics supported it. Goodell taught his surroundings to bury it. Just look at their recent infraction with Cincy. And how that team changed post Ernie. The teams weren't going to dig for more, Goodell wasn't going to dig for more. Those magical recoveries have stopped. Everyone is entitled to believe what they want but where there is smoke there is fire. If it looks like **** and smells like ****.. Another take I used to throw out is if you were a master thief. Indepth forever great at it. But someone knew about you and slapped you on the wrist. All that money you got would you suddenly stop? With a wrist slap? You can say with Ernie leaving that master thief got amnesia. Could no longer be that master thief. You might petty theft your way into retirement. Or you might say it was a great run. Be around the nice shiny riches because you love to.. and then retire. Either way enter bill-acheat. We are all caught up to present day while awaiting a great dinner out. I might have me Ribeye or Porterhouse maybe a side of lobster bisque. My favorite mixed drink with an extra celebratory shot. There will be laughter, there will be smiles, there will be fullness of a belly after awhile. There will be awareness of a game I love now more pure. And hopefully not the same HC to endure. 😁
Brady still managed to win without the pats. How to explain his success with the bucs?
