Brown to Pats

depending on how this continues, a lot more people will be exposed.

although it turned out to be a bad football decision, they offered a huge contract but protected themselves with clauses. they had the balls to discipline and fine him and ultimately release him.
tomlin has already been exposed for allowing brown to run rampant with little to no discipline or fines. he also proved he could win with brown. colbert was able to get a couple low draft picks for him that seems like a deal now, but browns talent was worth way more than that.
now comes the patriots. i already think they paid way more than they needed to(i will wait to see exactly how the contract works out), now lets see if BB has the ability to control, discipline and win with brown.

this move could solidify another super bowl or it could be the demise of their season..............flip a coin

IMO, its gonna be all love for AB in NE until he realizes that Edelman is the "favorite". Edelman has never been targeted over 150 times in a season.

AB has not had less than 150 targets since 2012. NO WR in NE has ever had as many targets as AB has averaged in a season except Wes Welker 6 years ago.

AB got his panties in a twist when he wasn't the #1 in targets last year (which he still was 168 to 166 over JuJu)...what will he do in NE with Edelman, Gordon and Thomas eating his targets?

He may hate on Ben but that is the QB who made him a priority for targets since Wallace bailed. He will NOT be the #1 in NE and will give Josh McDaniels grief as long as "he's not gettin his".

This will not end well...he is a diva. Bellicheat doesn't do divas and he won't be happy. Bellicheat has taken "problem players" in the past and made the most out of it BUT he has NEVER had a diva.

I'd classify Randy Moss as a diva. Actually Moss's situation was very similar to what just happened with Brown. Stud WR on a good/great team but never won a championship, forces his way out and ends up in Oakland where he forces his way out again and the Pats scoop him up for cheap. Only difference is Moss wasted 2 years actually "playing" for Oakland, though he gave up on them pretty early on. We've seen this script before.

That's one way to look at it. AB may be a trojan horse, bringing a boatload of chaos and upheaval to NE....who welcomed him in with open arms. LOL

I just don't see how ab's style meshes with marsha's. ab is a schoolyard playmaker and marsha is a robot that throws darts to where he expects the wrs to be.

No integrity in this league . There can be all kind of humors comments on Brown and Pats but reality is the NFL to allow threats and racial slurs and allowing Brown to get away with action on two team is unacceptable. I say that but this is where we are at in this country today. We glorify or laugh off in the name of entertainment some very questionable attitudes and actions. We allow cheating, we allow threats, we allow off the stage actions with no accountability. Today not one talk show will question the signing or actions of Brown. It will be just like Pittsburgh that Oakland is the cause and the coaches and Gm and QB di not welcome this poor unwelcomed Brown. Makes any player that is a quality individual, when they keep their mouths shut , look just as bad sad state of affairs.

A leopard cannot change his spots .... That is all

Unless the leopard was never a leopard at all. This goes one of two ways. He keeps doing what he has been doing for the last 8 months in which case he will not make it through game 4. OR this has all been orchestrated from the beginning. He wanted off the Steelers he knew he would never be traded to the Pats. He pulled his **** with the Steelers to get traded. Then on Ridiculous look, hot air balloon entrance, feet, helmet, over reacting to fines (all that would have been leveled by the Pats), Tweets, Trying to start a fight with the GM, releasing a taped phone call with the HC. I will argue if the season goes by without a major incident, that all the other **** was Bullshit to get what he wanted. And there is not much chance that the New England Patriots would be paying nine million dollars guaranteed for all of those shenanigans. This was coordinated and calculated.

Can only laugh at this point.

What would stop them from having him up in the Press Box with Kraft and the other cheaters.

True, Kraft does need SOMEONE to give him a happy ending at some point... little welcome gift to AB.

and yet just another Roger Godell not doing anything CHEATRIOTS.

If this TRUELY is a set up, those antics will suddenly stop. If suddenly FOOTBALL is his main gig........ The fix was in.

IF this just acidented along the way, then CHEATRIOTS will erode from the inside out.

Either way the CHEATRIOTS are exposed as the cheating ******* they are.

The XXXLarge is ready for action and assclown may as well be 1st up !

Though I tend to agree with you, does Brown really strike you as someone who would deliberately sabotage 30 million in guaranteed money just to play for the Patriots.

If the reported time line is to be believed, he asked to be released only after Mayock effectively voided the guarantees in his contract.

I admit it seems shady, but I can see it either way.

He did nothing but sabotage the Raiders since he got there. I don't think he's ever even had a full practice with them. He kept stirring up drama the entire time he was there and did things he knew would get him released. He didn't want to be there.

Also why would he sabotage $30 million if he didn't already know he had something better? He knew NE wanted him and that he could play there a year (maybe stick it to the Steelers as well) and have another FA period next year.

I think the moment AB secretly made an illegal video of Gruden, Bob Kraft said holy **** this guy can teach us a few new techniques, we have to get him! Probably give him a job in their AV department as well as playing on the field.

Scum attracts scum.

As I said, I do think collusion/orchestration likely happened, and was convinced of it last night, but the more I think about, there are some things that do not make sense.

Why bother demanding a new contract with the Raiders, if the plan was just to force a release from the team?

Why go through making a public apology and expressing a commitment to the Raiders if he was planning to demand a release the next day?

You're probably right, but some things in the sequence of events don't add up.

He has just sealed the deal as a 1st ballot HOS. Hall of Shame
Drew Rosenhaus just took the lead as the Biggest Douchebag Agent as well
I would love to be a fly on the wall in the Raiders Head Office.

No wonder their owner goes to some sleazy massage parlor just goes with how this organization is run. Totally class less for any team to pick up this turd, threaten a GM and all the other and he gets a position as other plyers get sacked

Perfect match, most loathed player goes to most loathed team. We'll see his smug little *** on the sideline tomorrow. We'll see how well that punk does abiding by Belichik's ground rules, should be fun.

No doubt in my mind this was planned from the start. Worked for one Running back. Worked for one OLB. Now it works for a WR. There will be no investigation. Raj is a ***** whose daddy is named Robert Kraft and the Steelers are now officially NE's training ground as well. Not sure I even care about the NFL if **** like this is condoned.

I think he'll be a model citizen with them. You betcha u will see his best going to church impression....

You will for a minute get a model citizen. But...AB is a head case. It will not go his way and anger & frustration will boil over....There will be games where Pats will be run dominant. The other receivers have to get the ball as well...

He's gonna **** up at some point....Wait fot ittttttttttttttttttttt......

Admittedly it's a risk. But if it was calculated he gets half of it back this season alone. It really comes down to is there any possible way you could see the Pats making this deal with the **** that happened this week if they didn't know something. They won the SB last year. They win with far less talent than Brown. The only thing that might hurt them is a cancerous circus clown. And if his **** was real there is no way he could control it.

They are a delusional bunch. They have been caught and draft picks taken away but signal stealing isn't illegal. Then to diss Pittsburgh like Mass is some private resort people like to go to? Pittsburgh is like Ohio?

I do notice is how quick they are to ban there, they want no debating. Which shows their narrow minds. And soft shoulders. *******.

It's pretty funny. Bunch of chowder eating c* *ts with an obnoxious i got a dick stuck in my mouth accent.

Their franchise is a bogus pile of steamed garbage.

Cowher just took AB to task on one of the pre-game shows, saying how the league has to stop rewarding insubordination. That came after another talking head called AB a 'genius' for playing the Raiders and making the league bend to 'his' rules.
