This was the type of deal the Steelers needed to sign Cam to if they wanted to keep him. If he's performing to his current ability level, it's not a bad value. If his play drops off the team has an out. Assuming he plays at least two more years, it gives the Steelers a chance to invest a high pick next year on the DL and transition him into the lineup as they did with Benton.

His better days are behind him, we are just cashing in on his last Haraaaahhh, hopefully for this and next year.

I’m not taking anything away from him but he has had 10+ sack seasons in the past.

He is living up to contract expectations and I for one am happy to see him playing beast mode as he sashays into the sunset.

I would highly advise they use a high pic on the DL next year, they need it.

I think Cam has been good and very consistent. Even in the Dallas game Cam was about the only one who seemed to play well.

yes 100%. but Coach Lloyd has been saying it for yeasr. at some point he will be right. Next year will probs be a great year. but not last year or the year before or the year before.

At some point the Steelers are going to have to replace Zack Frazier. I will not start posting about it for a very long time.
