Christmas Day Game Thread

I absolutely am because if Reid had to work with the QBs that Tomlin had to work with and had to hire all his chief assistants internally we wouldn't even be talking about Andy Reid.
Those are Tomlin choices nut hugger

Reid made his choices, just better ones than Tomlin.

Had Ben had a legit coach to help improve his craft (like Mahomes has) Ben easily wins 2-3 SBs minimum with Reid.

What choices you talking about dipshit?? And be specific.

Tomlin will never admit 30 is the better back and will go down in flames wasting plays trying to prove otherwise.
I think it's more Arthur Smith at this point. He loves the power running game and gets that with Najee - sometimes. Problem is our OL isn't consistent enough and when the blocking breaks down, Najee tries breaking everything outside. He gets next to nothing or loses yards.

I'm not sure this can get any more pathetic. Damn sure just embarrassing.

Same ****, new year, same fatal flaws. The coaches (HC can't play with the big boys)and ****** never changing scheme.

Wait, wait, wait ... I have a tidbit that will change your view of everything:

Mike Tomlin has never had a losing season!!

The game changed to all KC on the completed pass called, no review, incomplete pass. We looked to just give up we do have those players that can change the attitude, we use to have. Where are the leaders. Hayword yelling on sideline lets go well where was he all day and where was the coverage all day. We got blown away in Eagleville, same in Baltimore and at home today andnot one difference in the game plan or play on the field. So who is the blame for that?

Sure. You bet.

In a related story, Sammy Baugh talked about the Redskins crushing loss in the 1940 championship game to the Bears by a final score of 73-0. He was asked if Charley Malone dropping an easy TD in the 1st quarter that would have brought the Redskins even with the Bears at 7-7 possibly changed the outcome and he said, "Yeah, it would have been 73-6."

It was all Tomlin's fault. 😂😂😂
When a dude consistently snatches victory from the jaws of defeat needing comeback after comeback to achieve victories rising up from
A hole the coache’s brilliant game plan put him in it’s hard to blame said QB.

Why did the offense consistently get better when Ben was playing street ball in the 4th quarter going no huddle and calling his own plays digging himself out of the hole the Tomlin gameplan put him in?

**** dude drawing up unpracticed plays in the dirt were more effective than the brilliant Tomlin game
Plans installed and practiced over the course of an entire week

Just think of what said HOF QB may have been able to do with a coach that helped to improve his skill set and game his team a schematic advantage to help with exposing opponents weaknesses

But sure, Mike is great…how else could’ve Ben had all those comebacks if it weren’t for a **** script being followed for 3 quarters to put him in said hole🤦🏻‍♂️

Nice to see the all too common weak minded Steeler fan crash out 5 minutes into the game. True definition of pathetic.
Howd this post age for you troll?

Your beloved coach is the biggest problem on this team? Yes or No??

I will say this and I believe its not an overreaction. DC Coordinator position needs to be seriously looked at. It's another position they cannot afford to continue to hire internally. These long drives continuously being given up the last 3 weeks are not a fluke...injury or no injury. The secondary coach also needs to be reevaluated. They've been absolutely atrocious.
Tomlin completely controls and dictates this defense for years and years, the DC is his minion. You either know this full well or you’re an idiot…actually knowing you it’s probably both

We have so many mentally challenged mouth breathers in here. Q2 just started
Tomlin apologist playbook engaged:

Steelers playing like garbage? Don’t criticize anyone in charge of overseeing the same flaws week after week such as a slow start…just attack the people pointing it out!!

You're absolutely pathetic

If you’re counting on someone else handing business on your behalf, you’re not handing your business.

Expecting other teams to save you from your own failures is a fool’s errand.

Unfortunately, we have been relying on “fool’s errands” the last several years.

Having to back into the playoffs consistently, keeps us in that near 20th draft pick and average at best.

****, it wasn’t that long ago we had a 3 (21/2) game lead in our division, now we have to hope for things to happen…………….

I say this game completely went South on that call completed pass non review incomplete pass. KC took over. Seems to be the pattern this year. I say I did not think we would have the record we do and in the playoffs. But we have some glaring weaknesses that have shown themselves in last four games. We cant keep any rhythm to our offense the defense is really overrated and forget the zone defense. WE were embarrassed again today at home.
This game was over in the first quarter. A pathetic 3 and out to start, penalties and bad play calling. Down 13-0 and we score bit we didn't because another penalty. And then the new Russ throws a HORRIBLE pass that is picked in the EZ. Forget that he didn't read the defense at all, the pass was no where NEAR Muth. Take the safety away and it's still an incomplete pass. He's missing guys, running into pressure, and if it's not 25 yards down field or just across the Los, Russ just doesn't throw it. The moon ball masks his lack of arm strength at this point in his career.

Reid wouldn’t have ever hired, yet alone kept, O’Canada for three years.

Reid also took Creed Humphrey to build a fully and stout OL, something Tomlin tried to do with a gaurd turned center starting rookie.

Just a couple examples as both those would have made BEN better.

PS I’m pretty sure I’m not a “dipshit”.

No. Troll.
We all know your insufferable excuse making and blind defense of Tomlin no matter what…

Here’s some questions for you after you get done kissing Tomlins *** and blaming 2 straight losses on bad bounces:

1. After watching this team play the Eagles and Chiefs in the regular season: how many times out of 10 would the Steelers beat each of them?

2. If the Steelers lose by more than 10 points in the playoffs completing their 8th straight season without a playoff win, will you agree Tomlin should be let go?

Pretty sure Tomlin isn't the GM..and you know as well as everybody else that Tomlin was limited to hiring all his OCs and DCs internally until Arthur Smith was hired, because the Rooneys don't like to pay the assistants. I'm not saying it's a fact but if my back is against a wall I'm going to go out on a limb and say the Steelers organization has the smallest payroll among assistant coaches in the league.

Do we need to be reminded just how tight fisted this organization is??

By the way, Creed was drafted in 2021 ....how would he have made Ben better when 2021 was literally Ben's last season of play? An old, noodle arm Ben that was a statue in the pocket at that?? See this how I know yall just get on here and say any damn thing. You dont even check your own comments to see if it makes sense. Y'all just be talking out the side of yall mouth throwing objects against walls and hoping it stick.

It should be noted that drafting that guard to play center wasn't a boo hooed pick at the time. Let's not try and play the blame game in hindsight. Essentially a lot of picks/choices dont quite work out. That can be said about every team. If we look at who the Steelers took prior to Creed we have Najee, which was the bigger problem at 1, and Pat Freiermuth who was taken in the same rd as Creed. Najee definitely hasn't lived up to 1 status and I'm not sure if many would say Pat has lived up to 2, but those were some pressing positions of need also in that draft and I'm not sure there was anyone I can remember that objected to either of those picks.
