Colin Cowherd: “The standard in Pittsburgh used to be winning Super Bowls. Now [under Mike], it's, uh, they had never had a losing season".

Why ban him? It's his opinion just like everyone else's... Seems like y'all should be able to take it or maybe not...
his opinions are not the issue

he has violated board rules under several different usernames

I couldn't care less about his opinions on Tomlin

We all know about the he has not earned the right to violate the board rules yet... From reading y'all's posts I figured you would have thicker skin than that... Sorry my mistake

maybe ban him when the season starts. he provides entertainment during the slow time

but then again as a kid I always got in trouble for feeding stray animals

I agree with Cowherd on this, there seems to be large growing group of the fan base that love the new championship standard Tomlin is feeding them. It's nothing new, you could see it coming from a long way off.

Why do you care ? Do you follow all of Bob's posts to know one way or another? Thick skin has nothing to do with banning someone who doesn't do anything but troll and in the process breaks boards rules. Rules are in place follow them. It's simple.

This is our platform, guys. If you want to talk about a specific subject, it is NOT ok if someone thinks they are entitled to decide if your voice is going to be heard. Justin works for us! He makes money off of US! We tell HIM what is going to be discussed, not the other way around.

The next time Cookie attempts to tell you how it is, be assertive and remind him that he works for YOU!
In my best Mel Gibson scream......FREEDOM!!!

This is OUR team, OUR forum, and they are here for US! Remember that ..
Sorry to drop some bad news on you but this isn't YOUR forum at all...
You see, you aren't really a member because you can't respect the forum rules and only stay until you get banned ( repeatedly).
You're like the bum that sleeps in Best Buy's dumpster but thinks he's part of the Geek Squad.

Is it the same Standard we had in the 80's and 90's? We seem to be doing better than we did then. We won one two in the first decade of this Century WE won none in the 80's or 90's. What is this actual standard you are referring to? Take away the Patriot's cheating ***** and Tomlin and and Cowher probably both have another ring. Winning it all legitimately is hard, Staying competitive every year is hard. I really think some need to reevaluate exactly what teams other than us have accomplished over the last 30 years and realize how good we have had it.

He’s not wrong. Point out any of Tomlin’s or the Steelers shortcomings and they respond with “never had a losing season.” Then you get told you’re spoiled. You see it everywhere.
Well to a degree the spoiled part absolutely applies to some fans. Tomlin absolutely isn't perfect. Not sure you could find a coach who is without cheating. My hope is Tomlin lets some of the new coaching talent have more control. That is where he needs to improve and he needs better decisions on challenges.

I have never bought into all coaches cheat theory.

Its my opinion that the team has been under a constant downward trend after the last super bowl... One of the best franchise QBs and years with good defense but this team still struggles to get out of a wildcard game. I'm speaking about Tomlin and his tenure as coach. I'm not concerned about the Pats since the NFL recognizes those seasons... It's common place that people have recognized Tomlin's short comings with personnel, coaching etc. But people are being conditioned to accept it as good... We all know it's hard and I think many would be happy with a few deeper runs in the playoffs but he has failed to even do that with one of the best QBs.

I have 2 Tomahawk Ribeyes my kid surprised me with today on the Grill. Salt. Pepper. Butter and fresh Garlic. side is 1st red Pontiac potatoes I pulled from Garden today. Vodka. Might switch to a nice Cab for dinner. might not

Me either. Easy way to say that the cheats didn't really do anything wrong.
In the judicial system they also have different levels of punishment for lesser and more serious infractions. As in the case of the cheats their indepth cheating was with the clear intent to cheat to win. Not to gain a slight edge but to gain an unfair extreme advantage to impact every game they played. To this day how it is handled is a joke.

AKA I’ve been conditioned to believe that if someone says something unflattering about my master, they must be the enemy.

Turn off CNN and MSNBC, bro.. You can watch Biden fall off his bike on Fox.
Just as an aside, why would anyone think it’s a good idea to let that man on a bicycle? At almost 80 years old and clear cognitive decline? He has already fallen down the steps trying to get onto the plane several times if I recall. My mother is 70 years old and has had some neurological “spells” herself, and she tried to get on a bicycle or suggested several months ago And it was a nonstarter for me same as not letting her stand on chairs to change lightbulbs or get things out of the cabinet. Xidens handlers seem guilty of elder abuse.

I told the Tomlin Fan Club on FB the other day that they should STFU and lay low until he wins a playoff game.
If you feel a need to keep trumpeting how great your guy is, then he ain't that great.
That kind of reminds me of the LeChina James fan boys All over Facebook trying to tell us why he’s better than Michael Jordan. Michael Jordan doesn’t need to say anything.

Tomlin has not evolved as a head coach. Others have already mentioned it, but he’s a defensive guy supposedly in a very offensive minded league with everything slanted toward the offense.

If this were figure skating Tomlin would be the big name skater five or 10 years past his prime doing double axles while the top skaters are doing quads.

Tomlin has a decent short program so to speak but he’s a non-factor in the long program at this stage.
