College Football Champ Week and News

It's all a great discussion. None of it means anything until the committee makes their announcement.
The expanded playoffs will be welcome

Speaking of which, when the playoffs expand, playing in a conference championship game could be a liability. More chance for injuries and less chance to recover before the playoffs start.

Because TCU lost a 13th game in OT that OSU didnt even play(they played 12)
Why penalize TCU for losing an extra game
At least they won their regular season conference title
Now that is a very logical answer. But I still think 'a loss is a loss' no matter when it occurs...

Ohio St is #3 now. TCU/Alabama are #4. If you consider TCU to be Cincinnati or Boise St like I do, it's bama. If you respect the Big 12 and Kansas St a lot, I guess you have to put TCU in there.

These games would be a lot more interesting if a win meant an automatic playoff bid.

IMHO, Alabama was in the minute TCU lost. I don’t think it is right, but no way the committee keeps TCU over Alabama. Too much money at stake.

Total unawareness by LSU special teams

SEC student athletes not up on the rules of the game.
