Way to persevere young man. Perfect example of when you dont give up good things happen.

He looked pretty good, and I cannot think of anyone that isn't cheering for him. After all of the reports a couple of years ago it sure did look bleak for him, glad that he proved all of the DRs wrong. We have some excellent talent on D now, hopefully Lebeau and company can work their magic on them because it has been a few years since we had a top tier D.

I saw enough to think he will be good flowing to the ball. I would like to see how he will be in coverage to see he has full range of motion.

One of his strengths before the injury Miami fans would tell me that he sniffed out screens pretty well.

I think he has the potential to be better as the year goes on, but yeah I want to see that ROM.

With the log jam at the position, I would think if he makes the roster, the Steelers would be satisfied with the question marks I just presented...........

Great story, Go Spence!!!

I hope he continues to improve and makes the team. Go Spence!

Spence had nothing to do with the 78 yard run as he was lined up way outside on the left side. I thought he looked great! Dude I wouldn't be surprised if he steals the starting lb job from Shazier.

yep that was on Timmons Heyward and the safeties

Great to see him out there playing football. He's going to be needed this year.

Will see Harry...Kid is very smooth flowing to the action, needs work at point of attack. When they went right at him, he struggled, I thought...

I hope Shazier is stronger, but my expectation is he will look very similiar to what we saw Spence do last night...Solid...with some needed strength...

Good things from him last night, but lets see if that lasts the whole preseason before we celebrate his comeback too much

Jeeppers debbie, the time between end of preseason and start of regular season, they are retiring his jersey and giving him a pre-retirement entry into the hall of fame. Why would we wait till next week??? lol

Timmons couldn't help that he was being given a hug, lol.

EXACTLY, love all around !!!

Timmons could file for sexual harassment after that play, not his fault at all. He filled the hole pretty well, the refs just missed it.

I kept seeing this dude flying around smashing people and was like who the **** is this. Awesome to see for him and for us.

If Shazier AND Spence can be quality NFL players, maybe we see both and Timmons with one of Jones/Worilds?

If I was negotiating a long term deal with Worilds right now, I would take a bit of practice time to move some of these ILBs outside....just to see.

I think we already know Timmons isn't going outside...

With our recent injury history it would be nice to have Shazier, Spence, Worilds, Jones, and Timmons in uniform every game day.

We could play the old Chiefs 3-4 with all 4 backers in an ILB role. Speed and things.

I never thought he would play a down after that horrific injury with the nerve damage. For a young man to want it so bad and work so hard against long odds makes you root hard for him. This guy has become my favorite Steeler and for him to be on the roster on opening day should be a stor the NFL Network should spotlight instead of the dumb ex jocks talking inanely about Johhny Football or RayRays next murder victims.

Nevermind .... someone wisely suggested that we not poke the bear.
