Hell no.

A playoff game?
I sure as hell wouldn't bet on it.

And not according to some of the complaints and b I t c h I n g about our players
throughout this board:

TJ having a lackluster year.
Minka has been terrible.
Pickens lousy attitude, doesn't finish plays.
Russ Wilson is washed up.
Justin Fields is a back up, nothin more.
Moore is terrible.
Nagee Harris is overrated.
Broderick Jones is a turnstile.
Joey Porter too many penalties.
We have no true #2 receiver.
Our second ary is second rate.

We have 4 good upstanding players with no issues.
KC has a team full of them.

TJ...despite his lackluster year
Muth
and
Boz...a kicker.

So how is everything Tomlin's fault again?

It is his roster....he built it.
He hired the OC and DC.
It is his offensive and defensive philosophies we employ.
Am I missing anything?

Besides all that...it isn't his fault.

Name one area that Tomlin excels over Reid. Just curious.
 
Could he win a SB with that team, who knows, maybe, maybe not. I am confident that they would be a better team right now. Just a Head Coach philosophy change would be an improvement.

More Warren, more TE utilization, more play action, less rigidity on 1st down, more quick hitters on short crossers, all could improve the O.

Going out and attacking the opposing O on every play, instead of sitting back 10-15 yards and trying to react on every down would be an improvement on D.

Good comment. I'd love to see more Warren and Freiermuth. And also not sitting back 10-15 and trying to react, and then playing catch me if you can. There's just so many things.....

sadly I agree with this. this team is a team that Tomlin built. it is his Off and his Def. and I think Reid could coach this team better.

You could make a list like this for every team. Reid would certainly get more out of this team that we have. KC went to a SB with a horrible Oline and won a SB w/o WRs. The Steelers do not lack talent and we have a lot of guys misused. Im not sure how you can say TJ is having a lacluster year when he is leading the league in TFL and FF.
 
Tomlin never wins a SB without Ben. Or every other Cowher player, coach he inherited. So there is that. Go figure.
