Covid is like Superman and the Flu is Clark Kent.
so let’s pretend we immunize 100% of the population here
it decreases short term deaths and cuts down on the spread a little
it doesn’t end it
then 5 to 10 years down the road one of the horrible potential issues with mrna shows up… cancer or long term heart disease or second generation loss of immunity or any of the dozen concerns that are out there from creditable science… including some that showed up in various rat tests early in mrna development
any one of them in sufficient percentages would be utterly devastating to the population and cause a health pandemic that dwarfs this hypercold… its a huge reason why the initial emergency approval avoided younger people without co morbidities … its why as they expand it and ram it through more and more fda officials are quitting because nobody is listening to their warnings and instead playing politics …
Even worse is this plan to use Pfizer as a booster for everyone even though studies on the safety of mix and matching vaccines are few and far between and even the inept WHO has advised against it when Canada started down that path
Don't forget about the 2nd and 3rd generation birth defects seen in rat populations post MRNA injectionsso let’s pretend we immunize 100% of the population here

the way you did this ...No, Tim. If nothing else, you perpetuated the spread of the virus. That’s bad. No two ways about it. And…

This is exactly right. They aren't having 'Covid parties', but many people believe they can readily recover from an infection should they get it. And once recovered, studies have shown they will possess a more enduring immunity than the vaccines are providing. So they are passing on the vaccines, taking reasonable precautions, and living their lives. They should be left the **** alone.
For some, I'm sure that being forced to put something into your body against your will or risk losing your ability to provide for yourself, or participate in society is pretty traumatic. Its akin to rape. Just vaccinate yourself and leave them alone. If the vaccine works as well as you believe it does, you should be fine.
No, Tim. If nothing else, you perpetuated the spread of the virus.
I still find it funny that @Troglodyte and @Tibs refuse to touch your posts with a 10 foot pole.
Perhaps like the coincidence that the low vaccinated states got hit early and the high vaccinated states still haven’t caught up?Just a koinkydink I'm sure.

Nearly 20,000 fully vaccinated Massachusetts residents have now tested positive for COVID-19 and more than 130 of them have died, according to the latest state data on breakthrough cases
The breakthrough cases represent just a small percentage -- about 0.43% -- of the more than 4.5 million people who have been vaccinated and the deaths an even smaller percentage -- just 0.003%
In the last week alone, 3,074 new breakthrough cases -- infections in people who have been vaccinated -- have been reported. Health officials said 651 of the new breakthrough cases resulted in hospitalization. Breakthrough infections again accounted for about 40% of all cases reported in Massachusetts last week.
The number of new breakthrough cases announced each Tuesday has climbed each week since DPH announced the initial batch of 7,737 breakthrough infections on July 31.
Experts also told the Globe the increase in breakthrough cases is attributable to diminishing immunity from the COVID-19 vaccines
Part of this is that for a long period of time the vaccinated were not testedIsn't this interesting? Breakthrough Covid infections reach 40% of the cases in Massachusetts
https://www.nbcboston.com/news/loca...dents-have-tested-positive-for-covid/2481272/
Then they say:
Who calculates data that way? They take ALL of those vaccinated, then say just 0.43% are people who've been vaccinated. How about you take all of the CASES identified. and compare that to those vaxed v unvaxed? They do the same with deaths. On the one hand, nearly every media outlet in the country tells you how deadly Covid is by dividing deaths by the # of identified cases. But here, this outlet divides deaths by the total population of those vaccinated. Intentionally done to make the #s look smaller.
Now wait a damned minute. Just months ago everyone was screaming breakthrough infections were incredibly rare, like less than a %. This entire state has 40% breakthrough cases now a week?
And breakthrough infections are growing? No way.
8 months in, the vaccines are running out of gas.
Part of this is that for a long period of time the vaccinated were not tested
for instance my companies policy was if you got the vax and told your boss, you got a hundred dollar bonus, didn’t have to wear a mask, and didn’t have to get a negative test if you were exposed to return to work. Unvaccinated had to do all of that. They had a casualty in one of the regions, then put everything back as it was and suddenly the cases started climbing again… not because wearing masks spreads tge virus or anything.. just because they were excluding over half the employees from testing, and once they started testing everyone exposed tgey found a bunch of cases… cases that had been walking around spreading it because they thought it was airtight and tgey were safe
Are you saying that folks relied on the Covid flu shot and were let down by its efficacy?Part of this is that for a long period of time the vaccinated were not tested

The amount of stupid that comes out of your mouth.
How have I perpetuated the spread of COVID any more than someone vaccinated with a vaccine that may have only 39% effectiveness against spread? My family's protected. Better protected than you
With all of the data of late on vaccinated people getting COVID and spreading it, one would think your eyes would be open. I mean, we learned from the Israel study that people with the vaccine are over 13 times more likely to contract/spread Delta than the naturally immune.
Facts **** your argument.
Regarding the CDC Kentucky study. They tested "hundreds" of patients. The Israel study, mentioned above, "was described by Bloomberg as “the largest real-world analysis comparing natural immunity – gained from an earlier infection – to the protection provided by one of the most potent vaccines currently in use.” The paper also shows that offering previously infected people one dose slightly reduced their infection risk.
The largest real world study v a Kentucky study on hundreds of people. Yeah. No.
I can post dozens of studies to each you find trying to counter this. The evidence is real.
Then For every 100 of “you” there is only 61 of them.
And despite Louisiana’s 45% decline and Maine’s 55% increase, Louisiana still has more 7 day avg. cases per 100k: 55 to 51.Meanwhile, as to the spread of Delta. The Delta wave hit hardest and earliest in the lower mid-south. How are they faring? Change in Daily Cases the Past 7 days:
Louisiana -45%
Florida -12%
Mississippi -11%
Arkansas -11%
Missouri -1%
Texas +1%
Georgia +2%
------------------------------------
How are the highly vaccinated states doing? The following are the highest vaccinated states in the Union, in rank order from most vaccinated down with their Change in Daily Cases the past 7 days:

------------------------------------
And the 20 worst vaccinated states (in rank order from worst on up):
1. Mississippi -11%
2. Alabama +22%
3. Wyoming +27%
4. Idaho +43%
5. West Virginia +40%
6. Louisiana -45%

15. Indiana +15%
16. North Carolina +11%
17. Alaska +10%
18. Texas +1%
19. Utah +14%
20. Nevada +2%
AVERAGE among the 20 worst vaccinated states is an 11.5% increase in cases overall
There's a lot more sway in the last group....because many of the states are seeing a huge drop in their 7 day case loads which counter-balance the rise in some of the other states. Regardless...based on 7 day case average, right the moment, the average increase in the 20 most vaccinated states is 15.2% compared to 11.5% in the 20 worst.
Yeah the previous Covid-Sars had a natural immunity that lasted over 17 yearsSo the study that suggests that natural immunity, associated with previous Covid infection has been shown to last about 19 months.
Covid has only been with us for about 19 months. You do the math.
And despite Louisiana’s 45% decline and Maine’s 55% increase, Louisiana still has more 7 day avg. cases per 100k: 55 to 51.
It should be noted that Louisiana implemented a temporary statewide indoor mask mandate on August 2nd.
