Pretty much as I predicted, but with a twist. Not only have the murder victims disappeared from the news, but now the screeching brigade has managed to turn the psychopathic murderer into a victim. I have to admit, I did not see that coming.

A bully is a bully. Regardless of what they are labeled.

Those who cry victim based on race, sex etc are trying to justify their actions.

The only statistic I can really stand behind is poor/poverty people are not presented as much opportunities. It’s not easy for a lot of them to just get up and move or seek an education to get out. Other than that trans, men, women, race should be held to equal accountability for their actions
I have empathy for anyone that life throws a curve ball at, but we all have choices we can make to improve our lot in life.
When life knocks you down, pick yourself up. It's when you stop trying and think that bad decisions are the answer, that life becomes hard.
The answer is in the mirror.

The second amendment was ratified in 1791, that's 232 years the citizens of this country have been allowed to own guns.
So why is it that it's only become an issue in the last 30 years or so? These events are tragic, no doubt, but their cause has
little to do with the gun itself.
The Second Amendment doesn't allow us to own guns. We already have that as an inherent right. It is supposed to protect us from the Government trying to infringe on those rights and that seems to be totally forgotten or not known to start with by most. The bill of rights grants us nothing it protects that which we already possess.

I agree. But having witnessed poor neighborhoods first hand. A lot of them don’t have very much opportunities. I was fortunate to have parents push me to better myself.

A bunch of my cousins and people I went to school with however are born into a lifestyle that’s hard to get out of.

I’ve lost a lot of friends because I cut myself away from gangs, parties etc. If I didn’t meet my wife and go with her to Georgia. I feel like no doubt I’d be in a gang, incarcerated or probably dead.

There’s a lot of factors that make it hard for a lot of these people to get out. There are kids who do make it. But there are plenty who don’t.

MTC, you are 100% correct. Some circumstances make success even more difficult. However, our lives belong to us. We are the captains of our ship. Nobody else.

That is why I am so critical of the endless whining and excuse-making prevalent in our society today. Systematic racism, white supremacy, cisgender villains, and on and on and on and on. Since life is hard - for all of us, just to varying degrees - if you give people excuses to fail, they will fail. If you tell people they are failing due to others, they will accept failure. We need to repair our society by underscoring the value of the individual over the group, by teaching that our lives belong to us and nobody else, that every life has equal worth, and that failure is ours - but not the end of the story. Failure is just the next step to success.

I’m critical of endless whining too. We ultimately do captain our own ship. Some of us will have a mountain to climb than others. I’ll acknowledge not many are fortunate to have parents like mine, grandparents like mine. I’ll leave it at that.

Especially for kids. They should feel confident in whatever resources provided for mental health, daily assistance etc

Nope, there is no problem with the trans community. Nor their tribal calls to arm themselves and attack those who don't believe. Nope. Not one problem at all.

Admittedly I lean right, but LBJ's Great Society was the beginning of the end of the nuclear family in this country, and the cause of much of the hardships you expound on.

Funny how it took a week for this to be made public.

Which is why I go above and beyond for my kids now. Since the birth of my first son 11 years ago. That changed me.

My youngest was born in 2020 and my outlook and priorities changed as well.

I consider myself a moderate/centrist. I do have some conservative tendencies in regard to family structure. Especially because I’m hispanic and Japanese where family and respect is often a trait in those two cultures that my grandpa tried to pass down.

Some stances I do have a liberal view. Not like the liberals in the news however. I’m more of a live and let be type of mindset

It didn't fit the narrative that these people in make believe land are healthy normal folks. Just like the groomers putting porn in elementary schools. The same lot that brings us drag queen story time, puberty blockers and genital mutilation.
