So has Cuba since 1959.
Ok. Plan B: bomb the **** out of both of them. But give Litos a heads up.
Associated Press says the gov't. internet provider is shutting down social media and other things. We may not hear from him for awhile.

Yet another example of the problem with Government owned and run infrastructure like communications, what the Government gives "free" they can take away when they don’t want you to have it.

Pretty much the natural cycle of a government/country. We're heading there soon. Unfortunately.
They need to figure it out on their own in my opinion but if we sit back too far then darker forces will fill the vacuum.

Order would be restored in less than a week. But Venezuela would spend years cleaning up the toxins the Ogre leaves in it's wake.
Inhaling the fumes of bat guano (bat ****) can leave you with histoplasmosis. One load of Ogre excrement can wipe out a single town. It's that deadly.
So, while he would be effective, is the reward worth the cost I ask?
Tim, I fear for the Venezuelans as they stand now. They're being run over by diesel powered tanks instead of hybrids, as well as being fired upon by the Venezuelan armed forces using their own confiscated small arms. As such, dark times require dark efforts. The most effective would be to nuke the entire country...but they have oil. So that may not be the most logical solution.
Perhaps sending the jolly green ogre on a one-douche mission to the tropical country could accomplish a resolution prior to him setting bare foot inside their border. This would be the most eco-friendly option, as we do not know what trail of slime and destruction one ogre can leave in it's wake. As you thoughtfully suggest, histoplasmosis is a terrible side effect from inhaling bat **** fumes, but alas, Ogre is not a bat. Nor would the piles of his excrement ever be foncused with bat ****.
While a human can contract cholera, dysentery, salmonella, and other viral infections from human feces, Ogre is not a human either. Ogre, as described from wikipedia is: a legendary monster usually depicted as a large, hideous, man-like being that eats ordinary human beings, especially infants and children (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ogre).

Here we see Ogre being berated by (another) red-headed demon when he tried to play Captain Save-A-Ho and bought her the wrong house, only to be extracted from the lush estate, served restraining orders (again) and had the circumference of the restraining orders expanded to include 5 miles (or approximately 2500 Ogre foot steps).
But, while that may be besides the point, it shows that Ogres - and ours in particular - have the right idea, but rarely exercise the correct judgement. As such, it should be feared from the people of Venezuela that while what they are undergoing at present can and will likely only be child's play once the Ogre steps inside the country. See, we have small arms, soaps and red headed women to keep our Ogre in line. In Venezuela, they (at present) have none of that. Do you want to see an ADHD-addled Ogre, bereft with nay a solitary sense of personal accountability in a(nother) country he is not wanted, nor expected to achieve desired results and allowed to go HAM?
I do fear for the people of Venezuela, and believe that the only way to squash this uprising and bring peace back to the country is to merely suggest that we'll send our Ogre.

Good Lord....everyone knows since The Hague Convention that deployment of an Ogre is considered utilization of a weapon of mass destruction. The only mitigation is if you accompany The Ogre with a donkey and that needs a 60% Senate approval vote. Geez you guys.
