I’m pimping Kenny, he’s my guy. If he can stay healthy he’s going to have a great season. He’s flying under he radar and gotten zero respect since he left Pitt. Burrow who started what, one season at LSU after sitting behind Dwayne Haskins at Ohio State got treated like the second coming when he was drafted.I know he won a national championships and had a great senior season but look at the talent he had on that team.

Someone on Twitter reminded everyone Pickens has small hands as well making the catches even more impressive. To a point they're fun to watch, but making a big deal over practice videos can get old even for a player on the team you root for. I actually prefer seeing highlights of WRs absolutely smoking DBs for long receptions. I don't want them to have to make the circus catch every time.

Pickens has the tools and athletic freakiness to be great. He has to pair that with work ethic and the right attitude. If he does, he can be as great as many are saying. The dude has unbelievable control of his body.
I dunno DJ had a rock solid camp. Sure I see Pickens significant potential. But I need to see that progression on the field before I slide him above DJ. One thing we know about DJ he runs good routes and get open.
I just want to know if Pickens helmet still fits?

It's a positive for other players on the team. All of the hype and press, will get you more attention and more coverage. That opens it up for other players.
But truly great players can handle the coverage.
It all gets better for the passing game if you have a solid respectable running game and are not one dimensional.

There is no way he is statistically live up to the hype this season. He will likely make some sick highlight real catches, but with the emphasis on run and the way the ball will be spread I seriously doubt he makes 1000 yards.

Some guys need separation so they can jump back 3 yards as soon as they catch the ball, and one in a 6-7 billion rare freaks are like George…always open

However, I think what will make this team a tough out is controlling the ball and clock and going where the matchup takes you. I mean I think 4000k passing will be excellent but that us divided by Pickens, Johnson, Robinson/ CA3, Muth, rest of TEs and running backs. That's a lot to divide by. Goal is to be happy when

Its one thing to make circus catches, its another to dominate. He hasn't shown domination yet. He is extremely athletic and we can all hope with an improved line that will buy KP more time to get him the ball all over the field.

Preseason is the time of hope. Every team (and the NFL generally) are making sure to hype folks. It creates watchers, drama, discussion, etc. While I have high hopes for Pickens, many of the people hyped in the preseason won't come close to matching the hype come game time.

Anything less than 120 catches and 2000 yards along with 15 to 20 tds this year will be a disappointment. I and truly hope he reads this. Pickett also. Make it happen Canada!!!!!
