ExactlyI agree. But why do we get so upset at the whole thing? Tomlin a just a football coach. The Steelers are just a football team. And, it's just football. Their success or lack thereof changes nothing for any of us except our mood. Hell, I'm guilty as anyone. Not nearly as much as I used to be, but still.
He’s just a coach of a pass time meant for entertainment.
I used to live and die with results, now I just take it for what it is and enjoy it when they field an entertaining product…maybe if we were suffering more crushing losses (like a SB or AFCC loss) it would hurt more, but it doesn’t once the expectations are lowered.
Now I just look at it as a reason to eat some wings, drink some beers and relax for a few hours…can’t remember the last time this team actually raised my blood pressure or made me scream at the TV.
Those days are long gone, I suspect for better
