With the XFL lone wolfing their players we can put a lid on Eli ever coming back not that it wasn't a long shot to begin with.

Thanks for the information slash. The XFL runs off season of the NFL, I think those players can cut ties durring their off season. I've let a few articles go but will post them as I find them. I'm kind of excited for the new XFL season as they have several "rules" discrepancy VS the nfl's crap. One that interested me was the flow of the flagged penalty....... They aren't actually stopping the clock or play of the game. NOT all penalties but the common ones, is just an example.

I don't have regular TV, just streaming so I'll have to catch games on YouTube.

Here is the thing. The product may be decent enough to keep mild interest. It is impossible to create real tradition. So I doubt anyone is going to become a die hard Rough neck or Dragon fan. If any of these groups had the ability to affiliate with the league it would be a game changer. 5 games in the early spring. Training camp guys with the Steelers wearing the uniform playing in Heinz. I would watch. Hell we would all watch. Maybe you get 7 or 8 playing in the fall. But sorry I'm not going to buy Battlehawk merch. Not gonna happen. Maybe two teams could share. Ravens /Steelers. One or two home games each.

Jonathan Hayes is head coach of St Louis
Kevin Gilbride is HC of New York

If they play good hard-nosed football without the refs and instant replay screwing up the flow of the game, or diva players who put on a show each time they make an ordinary play, I'll watch it. Has to be better than most of what the NFL has slopped out recently.

So, what you're saying is that the current leadership of the Steelers is excellent at selecting minor league talent?

The XFL is a good place for Shamarko.

The WWE and XFL are dedicated to diversity so thay have the Okerlund rule. You must interview at least 1 masked coach before you can hire a non masked coach. The Nacho Libre Alliance has said the XFL still has a long way to go in terms of representation.

Well,I am going to have to brush up and become a better informed Steeler fan. I don’t recognize at least half of the names.

This! The one way spring football would work is if it were an NFL product. 8 game season, with each NFL franchise having a team. Same team colors. 8 team playoff. People would watch.
