Hot is hot, and the sun can be brutal. Fortunately I have a place in the middle of the Coconino National forest near Flagstaff at 7,000 feet to find cooler weather, but the sun is more intense there. In Phoenix you use evaporative cooling by jumping into the pool, and even though the water temperature might be 85 degrees, when you get out the air chills you for a minute or two anyway.I just looked up the weather for Phoenix. 114 today. Everyone always says it ain't the heat, it's the humidity. What's your opinion on that?
