I would absolutely make the trade and trade Pickens. Even if you don't like this year's QBs, you have the ammo to move next year in what figures to be a better QB class. We could truly rebuild quickly if we traded Tomlin. Hell, Gruden fetched 2 first rounders and 2 second rounders plus cash. The way the rest of the league nut hugs Tomlin, we could be sitting pretty.
**** a defensive coordinator. We need an upcoming offensive mindwho is the next good young defensive coordinator out there who deserves a shot

Damn! Old man Kraft not even waiting for the 4pm games to be overNew England firing Mayo. I would settle for their 1st and 2nd.
At this point after the Rats lay a 40 burger on the Steelers maybe they’ll at least just begin to ponder a trade scenario and try to remember what being relevant really means. At this point we know Tomlin isn't getting fired....that said....if Rooney told Tomlin to fire both coordinators...hire new ones that are not with the mindset of 1990s but 2025s....tell Tomlin to take a hands off approach on them. I would take that knowing Tomlin was still in the fold as HC.
Sadly nobody would really pay that for Mike, not even the Bears are that stupid.2 firsts would be amazing. 2 1sts and 2 2nds? wow
Nah. That dog won’t hunt. Guy has become a good passing quarterback. 39 TD’s says so. Middling passers that can run don’t put up the passing numbers that Jackson has the last few years. That he can run while putting up those kind of passing numbers is why he is in consideration for his THIRD MVP award. The Steelers could only hope to create a system and develop a guy to put up those kind of numbers. The Ravens OC has built a system that makes Lamar look like a passer while still being run centric... he is a solid OC, but who knows what kind of HC he would be
There’s times where he genuinely looks bored like there’s 30 other places he’d rather be.One day maybe Tomlin will act like he’s coaching and hold a play call sheet or something.
He just looks stupid on the sidelines staring into space
The sarcasm just flew byPhuq that. They need an Offensive minded HC, as that is the direction the league has decided they want to go.

Remember, the Steelers are lucky to never have a losing season. Look at some of these ham and eggers getting head coaching jobs. Tomlin is viewed as an elite coach and future Hall of Famer. He should and would demand a significant package in a trade and I'd love to see the Steelers pursue it.I would take a 2nd rounder. I would also take a double cheeseburger.
WITH THOSE GIANT BUG EYES.One day maybe Tomlin will act like he’s coaching and hold a play call sheet or something.

Oh, I got it. I just don’t want anyone to take you seriouslyThe sarcasm just flew by
It's hard to tell with Coolie, the dumbass he tends to be...Another one missing the sarcasm
I never figured the Rooneys would ever hire Vick either.Given the reason Gruden was fired I feel pretty confident that he will never coach the Steelers.
You could get 2 1st round picks for Tomlin easily, the way the national media talks this guy up, absolutely some team would trade multiple picks for him, including multiple 1sts. I do that in a heart beat.Remember, the Steelers are lucky to never have a losing season. Look at some of these ham and eggers getting head coaching jobs. I’ll attempt this answer. First of all I will state Jackson has had a frigging fantastic season,I can’t understand anyone who doesn’t acknowledge this. Why doesn't Jackson face "pass heavy D"
I thought bug eyes played dead pretty convincingly when coaching the Steelers...I've never seen him do anything that would suggest life. No looking at plays, no coaching decisions, just a lifeless corpse. Oh, but with bug eyes.
..I've never seen him do anything that would suggest life.
Of course I'd do it, but the Rooneys would risk the super long coaching deal we have to keep hearing about, as if it is some kind of massive accomplishment...."The Rooneys have only had 3 coaches in over 50 years." We hear that stat like 5 x a year, every year. And it makes Rooney puff out his chest, like it's a major accomplishment. You could get 2 1st round picks for Tomlin easily, the way the national media talks this guy up, absolutely some team would trade multiple picks for him, including multiple 1sts.
